“I made a quick stop at DT for stocking stuffers. This location had great items, candy, chocolate, socks, gum, peanuts, etc. I really liked the options. Honestly, this is an affordable choice for a few quick items. The reason for the 4 stars is due to the store being a bit messy and many boxes in a lot of the isles. I realize they need to unpack inventory but sometimes it's difficult to get to items when the shelves are blocked. I assume sales would be higher with a tidy store and less boxes in the way, Just my opinion.”

“Giving 5 stars because paria and the tall younger guy with glasses were so nice and helpful but one employee when I got there told me I needed receipts even for store credit so I was not able to return anything. But when I was leaving I was told that wasn’t true. Why lie? And if she didn’t lie and really thought that, she needs to be retrained. Sorry. She even told me something I bought months ago was a new item LOL like what? Ik I didn’t buy it recently. I should have pushed it because I have made returns w/o receipts at my usual tj maxx location with no problems but didn’t want to cause an issue as the lady was already not the friendliest. Thank you to the younger guy with glasses and paria though! Glad the trip could end w two good interactions as opposed to when I got there :)”
“I give Brittany and the Five Below Team 11 out of ten stars if I could. They were very helpful in helping me pick out the right items for my cat. If you know me, you know I love my cat. I brought different items to them to see what they thought was the better choice and they helped me every time. They greeted me when I walked in and when I left out which I loved because that doesn’t happen everywhere. They rock and I will definitely come back and shop there!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“The store has the best associate/cashier ever, Zack. He was sweet, patient and friendly. if I return, it’s because Zack was that awesome but I also like Variety of pots for my plants. I see the employees are always on the floor making sure everything is in its place to perfection— And it is noted. Great work!”
“This store closed on March 16, 2025. It has reopened as of June 6, 2025. Furniture is mostly gone replaced with lots of clothes.
Just remember, the name is the same, but an entirely new company owns it now. Very minimal furniture, tons of clothes, new products, some of the old vendors. No more rewards card or military discounts. It's essentially Rose's now (owned now by the people who own Roses).”

It's been a while since the last visit, and the store looks so much better. I realize it's a limited space, but sometimes it is difficult to maneuver the aisles. I don't know if I hit it just right, but the shelves seemed full, and the aisles were clear.
I only came across two employees working the registers. They could have been a little more focused on the guests, but having worked retail, I get it.
Overall, a good place for good items. I always check the books and was not disappointed.”
“It was messy!!! The customer service was horrible!!! The cashier needs to be fired the way he treats customers. Wouldn't even speak to us. When I ask him to put some oils in a separate bag he look at me like I was stupid or crazy. I just shook my head.”

This particular store is generally well stocked, and the workers are helpful and friendly.
It might be the nature of the industry/type of business, but they have frequent turnover of their staff.”
“Just left the dollar tree. And I must say they have very kind employees. I have literally watched a customer just now not even 15 minutes ago come in his bill was like 5 bucks he didn’t have the monies for his purchase and the employee took out his card and paid for it for him. GOD BLESS HUS SOUL! we need more kind people in this world I don’t remember the employees bame but he’s a man at cash register 4. Would like to add he did not embarrass the customer he gladly took out his own personal card and paid. There are still good people in this world”

I can always find what I need at reasonable prices and the store in Cary the employees are exceptionally nice. Always checking if you need help being helpful. It's my oldest adult daughters favorite store. She disabled needs the riding cart and they got bench inside. They bring one to her if ones not available. They go the extra mile which is rare nowadays. Love Cary Roses”
“They have raised their prices but I have to give them credit for making this location so much nicer than it used to be. I moved to the area back before the pandemic, and at that time the store was usually a mess, selling a whole lot of junk and questionable food brands I'd never heard of. Just went in today and the place was clean, much more organized, and there were many recognizable brands and useful items for sale.”
“I only posted to say something wonderful about the cashier, Mark. He was so kind. I didn't interact with the other older gentleman there that evening but he seemed kind as well. I can tell they are in need of help as most Dollar Trees are. As there were Carts of boxes in many places and they didn't have the gallon water I came for, but for some reason many of the Dollar trees have been out. I don't fault the staff. Just wanted to say they are kind. Made my night. Be blessed.”

“Great experience with who I believe was the store manager. He was closing up & I had an issue that was beyond my control regarding payment. It took a few minutes to get it settled & he was extremely patient and the cashier was too. I wish I would have gotten their names but this was Friday Feb 13th at closing time. It was a refreshing change. It's nice to come across kindness. Definitely recommend this store.”
