“We hosted our milestone anniversary celebration at Curate Studio and had a fantastic experience. The owner was incredibly collaborative and worked closely with us to customize the setup exactly to our needs. Everything was ready and perfectly set up when we arrived, which made the day completely stress-free.

We had around 80 guests (close to capacity), but the space never felt crowded it’s very well laid out, spacious, and beautifully lit. Overall, a smooth and seamless experience from start to finish.
Video set up worked great and having two cordless microphones was super helpful. We could customize our bar and catering menu to our liking because of flexibility to bring in any vendors. They even have a list of recommended vendors if needed.

Highly recommend for intimate, well-planned events.”

“I absolutely loved this hotel, the staff is excellent, extremely friendly and professional they simply out do an excellent job in all areas most places fail at. I had the joy of staying here nearly 2 months and I'm glad I was so lucky to snag a great room at a fantastic time. From day one, they made sure all of our needs were met. Very great people. By the end of it all, I felt like they were family. “We were here in early November for a family member’s wedding reception. It’s a lovely venue, with a nice outdoor courtyard area that is great in good weather—it was sunny and in the 70’s the day we were there. There are two buildings: one was a large banquet style space where the reception we attended was held. There’s also a large old house with a pleasant veranda and some very pretty rooms, including one with a piano.

Food was very good—there was a hot buffet for most guests, but my son and I have food allergies. The bride let the planner at Matthews House know about our issues well in advance. When we arrived, the event hostess came to meet us personally and then brought out the chef who confirmed our issues and let us know he’d bring our food out on separate plates. It went great. I was so impressed at the extra effort they made for us, and we didn’t have any allergy or digestive issues afterwards so they definitely got the orders correct. A big thumbs up for their attention to special diets!”

“Cars & Coffee Morrisville is one of the best car meets in the area — and it's the real deal. Run officially in conjunction with Highway Patrol, the event is well-organized, welcoming, and surprisingly lively for an early morning meetup.

It runs from 8–11 AM, all cars are welcome, and they rotate through some really cool themes that keep things fresh every time. The variety is unreal — I spotted a Ferrari F40 a few weeks back, which says a lot about the caliber of builds that show up.

A couple of things to keep in mind: arrive early, because it fills up fast and spots go quickly once things get going. The biker crowd can also get a little rowdy at times, which is worth knowing if that's not your scene.

Overall though, it's a fantastic event with a great atmosphere. Highly recommend for any car enthusiast.”

“Above the ornate fireplace in one of the stately dining rooms at Macgregor Downs Country Club, you’ll find the words “Ard Choille” (pronounced R Koil). According to history, it means “to the high woods or a secret meeting place,” and was the war cry of Scotland’s MacGregor Clan. Clan Gregor is one of the oldest clans in Scotland.

As you make your way around the golf course, you’ll experience tremendous views and challenging play, regardless of your skill level. The course routing is a giant circle running clockwise around MacGregor Lake. Both nines are hilly and tree-lined and finish close to the clubhouse. On the first hole, you’ll cross MacGregor Lake and won’t face it head-on again until the 18th hole, although it does wind its way behind the fourth green.

There are several memorable holes on the golf course, but none more so than the 18th hole, which is as visually stunning as it is challenging. Tee off from an elevated tee box over the shimmering waters of MacGregor Lake; how much water is up to you. From the White Tees, the shortest carry is straight ahead - not exactly at the hole on a dogleg right par 4 - but can be the difference between hitting that Pro V1 again or fishing a new one out of your bag. This shot requires about a 165-yard carry; go straight at the green and you’ll need about a 260-yard carry to clear the water. Once you find the fairway off the tee, you’ll have a long to mid-iron into the green. It’s one of the most intimidating holes out here!

The PeopleWe toured the venue with Kathi Morris. When reflecting back on the tour we felt that Kathi was genuinely invested in her couples and making the day exactly what they envision. We worked with Kathi and Maglen frequently leading up to our big day. They were both very responsive, helpful, supportive, and a pleasure to work with.I'd highly recommend connecting with their suggested vendors. We selected a suggested photographer, K Star's Photography and a suggested DJ, Epic DJ Entertainment (Apex). The LocationMorris Peaceland Farm is extremely convenient to downtown Raleigh and Cary but it feels like you're removed from all the city hustle and bustle. It's like you're in a secret garden tucked away. The road is set away from the venue. You don't have cars flying by, sirens every ten minutes, etc. It's beautiful during the day and at night. We had our ceremony at the dock which we loved! There are many different spots for beautiful photos. Our guests loved walking around the venue taking in all the outdoor splendor! We received many compliments from our guests regarding the venue and how beautiful it was!In addition to the amazing people and gorgeous location:-They have a huge inventory of items you can use which includes various tables, design items, easels, etc.-We didn't have to rent chairs, tables, or linen as it came with booking the venue!-They have a calligrapher which we utilized heavily for our table assignments, various mirrors, and frames. Every single item was exactly what we requested.We would highly recommend having your wedding or any event at Morris Peaceland Farm!”

“Let me tell y’all.. this is THE SPOT to be!! Looking for a wholesome Friday night with great food, drinks, music, and activities? This is it. I first started coming alone and even by myself the vibes were the best! Today I ended up running out of gas right before I was about to leave. The staff were closing up and I quickly ran up and asked for help. Within 5 minutes there was a whole team out there helping and making sure I was okay & the car was good. They even ended up having gas and got me on my way! Couldn’t recommend this place enough. I’ll be back again + friends!!”

Fire truck for the kids with a fire fighter's hat too! Very enjoyable.”

“My toddler and I met up with a friend for a play date here. It was very clean and the kids didn't want to leave even after 3 hours! Also, they have non-slip socks for a little over a dollar for kids and adults (I forgot mine!).”

“The staff was great and the hotel was clean. Letty and all the front desk staff were very helpful. There was a pretty good work out room and laundry facilities, with several washers and dryers.
There is a nice patio out back with new grills; the front desk has grilling utensils for you to use.”

“My daughters have been going to Performance Sports Gym for about 2 years now.They have also hosted 2 birthday parties for us - one in the big gym, one in the Butterfly gym. I highly recommend for birthday parties. It's nice that it is a private party, and cost is very reasonable considering. Both parties were fantastic, the kids had so much fun and the coaches were amazing.Both of my daughters have been also taking weekly classes. They look forward to their classes each week. It's been a great way for them to move their bodies and learn the basics of gymnastics.”

“The State Fair has something for everyone. It is crowded and overwhelming, especially the midway, for seniors and small children. It is good to pick and choose according to your interests and plan ahead.”

“We have been here mid-week a few times and have enjoyed our experience. The staff is always friendly, the food is decent enough for bar/bowling alley food, and prices are reasonable.

The scorekeeping equipment is modern and easy to use, the atmosphere inside is dated but fitting, and everything works as should. The only downside is the balls are very dated and worn.

There is a small arcade that offers some games and a few claw machines, but it requires you to use one of their game cards, which isn’t ideal.

Overall not a bad spot.”

“Great staff, wonderful course. The greens are always top notch. Walkable track, but don't be fooled by short yardage...this is a tough course to score on with water and hazards on every hole. All three phases of your game will be tested.”

“By far the best theater in the area! There's never a shortage on anything, the entire property - bathrooms, theater, concessions - is always clean and well cared for. Staff is helpful and always make sure we remember to get out points for our purchases. I've been to lots of theaters in the triangle area and this Cinemark is worth the drive to!”

“Room is clean and comfortable. Location in relation to the airport is fantastic and they have shuttle to and from the airport as well as free breakfast. Their shop for beverages is limited and staff friendliness is hit and miss, but that can be everywhere.”
