“This hotel was recommended by a former crewmember and only had good things to say about it. Located only a few minutes away from the airport. It was perfect for our project. Nearby are numerous restaurants that are mostly chains but a few independents. There is a restaurant on site. There was a large crack in the ceiling of the bedroom portion of the suite. Since that area of the world is not prone to earthquakes, I wasn’t worried. Excellent parking. A truly welcoming staff. I booked a suite that was top notch except for the, except in the bedroom, fake hardwood floors. I hate cold, unforgiving, echo-creating, hard floors. I like carpet. I know why hotels are doing this as they’re easier to clean, but not at all comfortable. A real turn off. The TV had one of the highest quality pictures I’ve seen on in any hotel room in months. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were the best ever. Except for the floors, I would recommend this hotel.”

“The front desk workers at this hotel are incredibly nice. They were so kind to me checking in and checking out. I had the best time chatting with them. They gave great recommendations. The valet service was also prompt and friendly too.Walkability: Location has many walkable shops and restaurants around it.”

“Wrong Way was our introductory stay to Asheville and I cannot recommend it enough. You have a very private room compared to a traditional hotel. Cabins are walking distance from the French Broad River Greenway and the river itself. You are a very short drive/ride from the downtown area and all the attractions that the area brings. The onsite marketplace includes a friendly staff and is very reasonably priced. This would be my recommendation for anyone visiting the area for the first time.”

“Everything about our experience was amazing, with the exception of the food. I attended an event in the Solarium space, and it was lovely. The space was beautifully decorated, with great views and impeccable service. The servers for our seated dinner were professional, kind, and always at the ready to assist when we needed something. The food itself was the only disappointment. My filet mignon was so over-cooked that it was grey inside and hard to cut (though they were all supposed to be medium-rare), while the person seated beside me received a steak so underdone it was nearly raw inside. Both were tepid to the touch. The asparagus on my plate must've been boiled, as it was bloated and waterlogged and almost flavorless. My husband had the grouper, which was passable, but it also lacked seasoning, and his "forbidden rice" (which simply appeared to be black rice) was so underdone that it was crunchy. He couldn't eat it.Again, every element was wonderful except the food. I hope that element will improve so that we can enjoy snacks and drinks on that gorgeous rooftop again soon.”

“Sarah from the lost & found is an ICON. I stayed at the Grove park inn this past weekend, and I had accidentally left my peptide medicine syringes in the hotel room fridge. She solved the issue within 5 minutes of me calling, and set it up for the shots to be sent to me, on ice, in the mail. This was professional, fast, and high quality. As well, my stay at the inn overall was absolutely wonderful. Clean room, great food, and very kind staff people.I will absolutely return to the Grove park inn one day.10/10 recommend.”

“This is a hidden gem! The staff was kind, caring, and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable with plenty of towels. Easy freeway access but quiet! The restaurant in the lobby was really good. The hotel breakfast had a ton of food to choose from, something for everyone. We would absolutely stay here again! Kudos to the staff and management!!Rooms: Comfortable and clean!”

“Stayed here a couple months ago for work, this is an excellent Hilton. I stay at a lot of Hilton properties for work and I enjoyed this property (some aren't so great). Staff and grounds well kept. Restaurant speedy. Room was clean and updated. Free parking as well. Thanks!”

“My husband and I stayed in room 201 in this really cute hotel. The location was fabulous. Walking distance to just about everything. Love the decor of the room and the space it offered compared to a typical hotel. It was cozy and had everything we needed.I do have a couple of complaints and am only stating them because as an owner, I'd want to know.We stayed for 4 nights. We came in contact with 4 different staff members. Only one was welcoming and greeted us everytime we left and came back. The other three didn't say a word to us. One of them even had to help me get into the door coming back in and he didn't say anything to me. It's almost like they didn't want to bother with us. Although they seemed bored. It's not hard to be friendly and inviting. I wouldn't like that if it were my hotel.Another issue is the pull out couch. The worst mattress and springs I've ever seen. I'd replace that ASAP.We really did overall love this place, that's why I gave it 5 stars. I truly do not want to hurt the business, but feel like these are two important concerns and can be easily fixed. Especially the customer service. Maybe a good talking to will help make someone else's visit more pleasant. Thanks”

“Another great visit to the Biltmore. First time with Christmas decorations. The tour was slightly different than past visits so we saw some different rooms. Also, enjoyed an unexpected, and wonderful, presentation by the Crown College choir. Excellent singers and a group of sociable, polite and mature young adults!”

“We were going through a remodel at home and had family from out of town coming to visit. Because we didn’t have a spare room available we chose to all stay at the TownePlace Suites downtown Asheville. It was a great choice. We able to walk downtown to everything and it made for an extra special time together!!Nearby activities: All the restaurants, bars, entertainment and shops you ever want.Walkability: We were able to walk downtown”

“Nice room & having a kitchenette with kids was beyond great. The lounge/breakfast area was nice & had a great ambiance. Well equipped gym for a hotel. I would've liked to use the outdoor areas but it was a chilly time of year. Will be back when we're in the area!”

“I enjoyed my stay here for my first trip to Asheville. Check-in was easy, because I did mines ahead of time via text app. The location was convenient. The room was nice and clean. The king size bed was so comfortable. The breakfast bar was more than I expected in the best way with many hot & cold options of food to enjoy. The only hiccup I had there was a dog barking a few times next door when trying to nap early one day.Rooms: The room was nice and clean. The king size bed was so comfortable.Food & drinks: The breakfast bar was more than I expected in the best way with many hot & cold options of food to enjoy.”

“We arrived to find a Large room that was very clean. The was a small refrigerator and a microwave. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. We had a two person jacuzzi in the room The only cons were there was not enough lighting in the room. The bedside lamps had no lightbulbs and instead there was a very small reading light and a light at the top of the headboard. For the room size it was a little dark even with all the lights on. Also the bed was so close to the heating unit that you had to walk sideways to even get through or crawl over the bed to get in and out. The breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, fruits, cereals, yogurt, and toast. The location was next to a large shopping mall, gas stations, and a restaurant. The staff was very friendly and efficient.”

“Great hotel right in downtown Ashville, walking distance to all the shops, breweries and restaurants. Spend the extra few dollars to have breakfast included it's well worth it and won't find a better deal. Our waitress was awesome every day of our stay and had a great start to the day . Front desk staff and valet were fast ,efficient and accommodating. When we go back to Ashville we will stay here again.Rooms: We had the penthouse floor with our own fireplace and wrap around balcony with views of the mountains and downtown Ashville. If you stay here get one of the suites with a mountain view you won't regret booking one of these rooms.Noteworthy details: Close to everything in downtown Ashville great shopping and location to everything”

“I'm an over the road trucker and I needed to stay here for a while because my truck was broken down. The staff and the price was the best. They even allowed me to get a part overnighted to the front desk and made sure that I got it straight away. I appreciate the five star service. Thank you. I enjoyed my stay.”

“This hotel is my favorite Holiday Inn. The staff is friendly. The accommodations ate always clean. The vibe is relaxing with the huge lobby and fireplace. They even decorated for Christmas with several gorgeous trees. They have an indoor pool which was busy last night. The hot tub was covered over maybe filled in and covered wirh a rug and huge potted plants. We paid extra for the breakfast which was buffet only. Wendy was the only person working the breakfast room and she was very nice and helpful. We love this hotel as they are pet friendly so when we are traveling with our dog this is perfect. They even have a small cocktail bar with a limited meal menu at supper time. The wedge salad was and hummus was great. Great location bear all the Asheville attractions.”

“My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay! The property is so quaint, beautiful, and well-maintained. Our room was very comfortable and the bed was one of the best we've had at a hotel. Complimentary snacks and drinks was a lovely touch and breakfast in the morning was convenient. The breakfast options are limited but served our purposes as we had early mornings. The location is great and the property is just a few minutes from downtown Asheville. We highly recommend staying here and would stay here again if traveling to Asheville!”

“This is a great budget motel for exploring Ashville over a weekend. The ease of check-in and staff were great, the rooms were meh. I like the idea of having a full window wall but not in a first floor where anyone could look in. Beds were decent but walls are thin so I woke up to people getting back at around 2am in the next room. Other than that, the bed and bathroom were good for the price and the breakfast was alright”

“We had a good stay at this place. We was a bit skeptical at first because of the bad reviews but also read some good ones as well so we decided to just go ahead and try it out as we was just looking for an okay affordable place to stay the nights we was in the area. I'm glad the we did go ahead and reserve it because it was not a bad place to stay. The front counter was nice, we had no issues with our stay there, food places are not that far away. Our overall experience was good. Thank you for your service.”

“It's a dump! My room was uninhabitable and I refused to stay there. They have refused to refund my money as well. the linens were dirty, there were holes in the bathroom door, and it was overall filthy. I wasn't expecting a lot but I do expect a clean undamaged room. It you cannot provide that service you should be ashamed of yourself for not refunding a guest.”

“Great quiet location right next to entrance of Blue Ridge Parkway. It was clean, has a true 2 door fridge. Excellent wi-fi. Comfortable bed and fine shower. this was about the cheapest place i could find around Asheville on a Saturday night but it proved to be much better than I expected. No restaurant or gym but who cares? Nice breakfast early too. Highly recommend! Note- my old Garmin sent me to wrong location as they moved a couple years back...”

“The first thing I noticed was the rooms were much bigger than other red roofs we have stayed. Room was clean. There was doggie poopie bags. We walked our dog. There is a wonderful steak house next to it. Proximity to the interstate is good. The not so good, nothing on the breakfast bar. There weren't enough people there to have one. The front desk person was nice but didn't know anything abt the area. The housekeeper got our towels. It took some doing to get towels replaced as we were left with 1 bath, 1 hand, and 1 washcloth. Basically this is a really good motel. The price is awesome for the room size. There should be more business here.”

“I should have made this review over a month ago, when I stayed there, but do not review places often and kind of forgot. I am not invalidating the complaints on here, but I was here for 3 days while being stuck in NC with nowhere else to go and limited money. The front desk people were so kind to me, especially the pastor, who could tell I was going through an awful time and gave me proverbs and scripture for hope and even invited me to attend church with him (I was not in the right place mentally to accept this, but that's my own fault..the offer showed a lot of kindness.) My bathroom was not dirty, everything worked fine, tub was a little stained looking, but probably just from years of use, did not seem dirty, water pressure was good, and I always wear flip-flops in any hotel bath anyway, no matter how clean or expensive lol had lots of towels and amenities provided, AC worked great and cooled the room down fast when I first got there and it had been off for a while. Beds were my favorite part, so so comfy and clean and stayed cool no matter how much I tossed and turned :) any long, dark hairs are likely just from the cleaning ladies, but people shed, I get it, and only saw like 2 or 3 on the floor, which was very clean! The housekeepers were so nice and front desk even accommodated me only being able to do a $20 late checkout fee as opposed to $25 (I literally only had $20 left and was waiting on my ride to get home). Did not ever wake up early enough to try breakfast, but many, many places within walking distance sell food and other needs! I cannot imagine what I would have went through on the streets if not for these great folks and a safe, reasonably priced shelter for those days and nights. Would definitely stay at again if ever in Hendersonville once more! All the locals and other guests were so kind too! Anyway, thank you for reading, wish I had had the finances to leave those sweet housekeepers a healthy cash tip, they were never not cleaning and I was in and out at all hours.”
