“I can’t say enough of the amazing soul and humanity that is James!We arrived the corner of Seven Devils Road and the 105 to find Seven Devils Police had blocked off Seven Devils Road due to the winter storm. There was so much uncertainty at that time as to when they would reopen. I walked into the Speedway to assess the bathroom and food situation as why might be staying there for a while, and that’s when I met James.What a remarkable person! What a kind heart!The bathrooms were really clean, and we were able to get tons of snacks and drinks as we waited for snow plows to come through.James, thank you so much. “We bent our Jeep’s steering tie rods while in Banner Elk. Several locals recommended Jimmy at the Exxon station. Reading all the reviews I can now see why. He had us parts and repaired in a few days. The price was very fair and so grateful for Jimmy and the staff for helping us out so quickly. Just an fyi I did need a front end alignment after this type of steering linkage work and they do not have this capability at this garage.”
