“I had a great experience moving with North American. We moved from Charlotte to Boston and so we were working with EE Ward in Charlotte. They had one of their representatives come to my home and do a detailed inventory so that they could come up with an accurate estimate, which I appreciated. They were incredibly professional and responsive in all communications. Pricing was middle of the pack, I got numerous quotes. The movers themselves were incredibly courteous and professional and did an amazing job at moving our bulky furniture up a narrow staircase in Boston. They did an inventory of every item, and not one of our items was lost or broken. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because we didn’t know what day our items would be delivered until a few days before, due to scheduling issues with the drivers. I believe this was out of their control but it did make things a bit more stressful for us as we were trying to figure out the timing of traveling to our new home. Otherwise everything was seamless and we would highly recommend them!”

“As a consumer I had to find a solution for returning a large item that I ordered that was damaged and fortunately I found Craters and Freighters. I spoke to Sam and she handled everything start to finish. When she was out of the office she still checked email and text messages and had Rick the owner/manager handle everything else and he was great too. Sam went above and beyond and she offered to have them pick up the oversized item ASAP even though it wouldn't be scheduled for production until the following week or longer depending on how long it took me to handle everything else related to the return. The staff that picked up the item were very nice and helpful too and even offered to dispose of the original damaged crate for me. She also offered to print and scan all documents and even helped me complete them. Since this was an international shipment this was a lot more involved and Sam was knowledgeable on all aspects of the process and they were not even the shipping company and only provided the crating yet Sam assisted me with the shipping paperwork too.”
