“2 and 1/2 years my furniture, washer dryer, books. Knickknacks, etc. were stored at the Safenest Storage Steele Creek. Was temperature control unit. Finally able to move into new place. Everything was in great shape when moved out of unit. No mold or anything Looked like had only been stored a day not years. The staff was always very helpful if needed them. Would recommend Safenest for any storage needs.”

I also did go when the company opened at 7am , amount of wait time could change throughout the day. The 16' I rented was very smooth and had USB to plug my phone for music. “It’s never fun being broke down and i see a lot of driver’s frustrations make it in these reviews. But I feel compelled to write a few words of praise for the night crew here at this location.I’m here because my main air line developed a leak because of abrasions and fraying of the jacket. It’s so rare that it’s a mystery as to how it occurred. That being said, the technician assigned to my truck should be publicly recognized in front of his peers for his professionalism, knowledge, thoroughness and patience in answering every question I had. Seriously, If I had the choice of only one person touching my truck it would be him.It is rare to find these qualities in employees these days. And when you get this lucky you should do everything in your power to promote and retain such talent. But wait, there’s more.There are two more that also deserve to be recognized. They were sitting behind the counter when I walked in to inquire about the status of my truck. More often than not I am left with the feeling that us drivers are an inconvenience that is tolerated because they have to. But these two were different. I walked out of there feeling like I was their only customer. Not of the night, week, or month. Their only customer ever. I really hate spending money on this current truck but if I had the choice I’d spend it here. Too bad this shop isn’t closer to my home in GA.So in summary, I really hope that the management/owners of this business recognize and do what you must to retain your awesome employees. Without them your business wouldn’t exist. Thank you for the positive experience and the opportunity to write these few words of praise.”

The woman working the desk got through three customers in about ten minutes and was very helpful with an older gentlemen who couldn’t quite get the hang of the electronic interface. They just moved into this new building and some stuff was giving her issues but she worked through it all in a calm manner. Would recommend this place for uhaul rentals for sure.”

“Last Minute Repair Done in Record Time.It was 2PM when I discovered damage to my work trailer. I had to get it repaired and most places won’t even start such a repair this close to their closing time, which is typically 4 or 5PM. However, Polar Service Center of Charlotte, NC. Started to repair my trailer at about 3PM and stayed opened till it was finished about 4:30PM, half an hour after their closing time. While the technician was working, I used their Southern hospitality to look around. Mechanically curious, I observed other repair projects and it’s obvious the technician is a jack of all trades and master of all of them. This is pretty rare for transport industry repairs. Usually techs specialize in one-to-three skills max and masters of “none.” This shop balances mechanical, electrical repair, and custom fabrication. My tech’s just as talented and comfortable using a wrench or welder. Without interrupting his work, He indulged my welding and metal fab questions with expert answers that squared with my own experience from previous vocations. After the repair was completed, the nice lady in the office was equally as professional. She researched that my employer had the correct account info so I didn’t have to get in the middle, facilitating payment. I was on my way in record time. Only thing wrong was an extra part found. I’ll return the tech’s screwdriver on my way through there. I just hope it wasn’t my gregarious curiosity that caused him to leave it behind. Lastly, my advice to all prospective customers is to call first. The location is a little tricky. This part of Charlotte has some narrow roads and curves where you can easily pass their building.”

“I'm giving a 4 because this is better than your average Home Depot. Selection like any HD is massive and you can get even more inventory delivered to the store. Prices for most items are not the cheapest but certain items are actually quite solid for example Round Up while others are gauging like shelf liners. They are always well stocked and never have been out of the item I needed. Most departments (most) I was able to get good help quickly often just from a friendly associate walking by (not the case in places like NY, NJ, CA, south Florida or even Georgia). Cons: One area that we got no help ever was blinds / curtains, etc. the back left side of the store can be a ghost town of employees but everywhere else I always found one easily. selection of connectors for washers, dryers, etc was pretty limited.”
