“This store is amazing. There are super sweet gift ideas in every book and cranny. It is beside Craftroom GSO. Two great shops side by side. My husband was thrilled with his Moss ball, a type of algae that grows in the form of a ball. The owner was very knowledgeable about answering his questions. So many lovely things. You do not have to have a green thumb to enjoy what they have to offer. They carry many wonderful art supplies that you cannot find at Michael's or other big box craft stores.”

“Wow!! I visited the Carriage House for the first time yesterday. What a beautifully merchandised collectibles and antiques shop. I have shopped so many antique and consignment shops in Greensboro, but I have never been here before. Firstly, it is not consignment. There are individual dealers in separate booths. It is a bit more consistently upscale then the other places I have been to, but that does not take away from the sheer pleasure of browsing. I would say it is moderately priced items and not the type of antique shop you are afraid to bump into something for fear of damaging something irreplaceable. I guess it really depends on your pocket book. Something's I found very affordable, something's were just out of my reach. They have smalls, furniture, decor and lovely oil paintings. I love ceramics so I enjoyed looking at lovely plates and colorful ginger jars. Wherever you looked, there was something interesting to see. The dealers just have magnificent taste in their collections and in how they merchandise their wares. There is a large parking lot in front. Just go and have fun. That's what we did!”

“I got a bookcase (could function as a coffee bar) from Dogwoods home and gifts, and I couldn't be happier. Solid wood, stained beautifully and comes with an anti tipping feature for people with little ones (or cats). The picture doesn't do it any justice at all. I am constantly getting compliments, even had someone offer to buy it (ofcourse I said no).Once our old house has sold we will be looking to furnish the new house and this is where we are going. King bed frames, behind the couch tables, nice dining room tables, entertainment centers, etc. I suggest you check it out too.Staff was courteous and listened to what we wanted. Suggested a couple of ideas even gave me a wait time if one had to be ordered.”

“Dressing room was clean, fitting room attendant was sweet as could be. Only complaint is the cashiers don't take the time to fold the clothes, they roll them up! I fold when I get to my car so it's not all wrinkled by the time I get home.”

“I was looking for a specific varietal to fill a hole where a plant had died. I took in a leaf from one of my others. The young man who helped me hopped on his golf cart and drove off to the greenhouse returning with two so I could pick the one I liked best. I've also had great experience on subsequent trips with the young women in the house plants section. And... everything I've bought has grown and thrived.”
