He was able to pull up items on their website that were not on the floor in order to do a comparison based on our needs. Customer service was top notch, and we did find what we were looking for. “This store is amazing. There are super sweet gift ideas in every book and cranny. It is beside Craftroom GSO. Two great shops side by side. My husband was thrilled with his Moss ball, a type of algae that grows in the form of a ball. The owner was very knowledgeable about answering his questions. So many lovely things. You do not have to have a green thumb to enjoy what they have to offer. They carry many wonderful art supplies that you cannot find at Michael's or other big box craft stores.”

My order was short a couple of handles and Cheryl from Flying Bulldogs responded to my email on a Sunday evening. She resolved the issue and first thing Monday sent the handles via FedEx. “I love this store so much. It's a great place to stroll or a place to find something unique. I love that they allow dogs to come because my pup loves to shop there and they have an excellent pet aisle with beds, grooming products, toys, sweaters and more! It's so much fun to take a look around and just relax. While so many retailers are going online, I'm so thankful for a brick and mortar store that gets my creative juices flowing that also relaxes me. I'm truly a regular here and I love the welcoming and friendly associates.”

“Wow!! I visited the Carriage House for the first time yesterday. What a beautifully merchandised collectibles and antiques shop. I have shopped so many antique and consignment shops in Greensboro, but I have never been here before. Firstly, it is not consignment. There are individual dealers in separate booths. It is a bit more consistently upscale then the other places I have been to, but that does not take away from the sheer pleasure of browsing. I would say it is moderately priced items and not the type of antique shop you are afraid to bump into something for fear of damaging something irreplaceable. I guess it really depends on your pocket book. Something's I found very affordable, something's were just out of my reach. They have smalls, furniture, decor and lovely oil paintings. I love ceramics so I enjoyed looking at lovely plates and colorful ginger jars. Wherever you looked, there was something interesting to see. The dealers just have magnificent taste in their collections and in how they merchandise their wares. There is a large parking lot in front. Just go and have fun. That's what we did!”

I bought tile for a small bathroom, and a sales associate helped me find the grout in the right color that I was going to need. “This store has a great selection of things and is really priced well. I love hunting for clearance because you can find past holiday things for super cheap. Only problem is that this store can become a huge mess. A lot of the time you have to abandon your buggy at the end of an aisle to walk through because otherwise you won't make it. “This is not the largest JoAnn store I've been in but it carries more than enough. The staff has always been friendly, helpful in finding what I am really looking for. Pricing is where it should be for most things. I like this store and enjoy my excursions there. The only down side to this (and any fabric store really) is the cut and then pay up front aspect. They staff is always shorthanded but cheerful and they try very hard. i would had preferred to give them a 4.5 score.”
