“Today a new girl started and I noticed the line was getting long so when my time was up I spoke to an assistant that was outside on her phone (prob a break) I simply said What’s your name?The clerk answered April, why is there something wrong?I said I just noticed how busy a line it’s getting . April got right up, put her phone away and jumped on a register- WHAT A TEAM PLAYER! Props to you April.Thank you!-Just a customer rewarding good behavior.”

“Difficult to get into if you're driving on HWY 1 North. Also, they had handicap parking up front, but we found one in the middle of nowhere, on the side of the building, in a little spot of asphalt that looked more appropriate for those huge dumpsters.”
“Today I stopped by Dollar General and met the sweetest cashier, Peggy.
I was about to swipe my card when Peggy stopped me and said, “Wait!” She wanted to make sure I used my $5 coupon before I paid. She could have easily let me check out, but instead she took a moment to think of me and save me a few dollars.
That simple act of kindness meant so much because I had been having one of the hardest days. I told her how much it meant, and she asked if she could give me a hug. In that moment, she shared that she’d been having a hard time too.
It was a beautiful reminder that every face has a story. We never know what someone else is carrying, and sometimes the smallest act of kindness can make the biggest difference.
So if you’re shopping at Dollar General, stop by the clean store and say hello to my new friend, Peggy. She reminds us that kindness is free, but it’s priceless to the person who receives it.”
