I have a great time chatting with them each time I go in to browse (which almost always turns into purchase).I started shopping here before I even lived in Asheville and I can’t recommend their shop enough. A majority of my jewelry has come from their shop and even the earrings I wore for my rehearsal dinner and wedding came from here! Our wedding colors were terracotta and mauve and I couldn’t have found a better pair of earrings than these. All of their pieces are so unique but also functional to wear as everyday pieces. Embellish has also become my go-to place for gifts as they have something for everyone!”

“Klauss was such an excellent help to us. Very welcoming and had a deep understanding of everything in the store. There is such a wide array of items to chose from here. Each piece of furniture is truly unique, and oozing with history (and good vibes). Best yet you can get real wood furniture and bypass purchasing a load of OSB/veneer with equal weight or packing materials (and assembly) from big box sellers. Come on down here and support your local business. These guys are first rate! We can’t wait to continue furnishing our house with them!”

“Sanctuary of Stuff is a unique gift shop in Woodfin (north of Asheville). There's a fun vibe, with beautiful pottery, glass, jewelry, clothing, homewares and baby things made by artists, many of them local. Perfect place to find something for that hard-to-buy-for person. Located right off I-40, so it's easy to find and make a quick stop, and the smell inside the showroom, of wood shavings and essential oils (from their candles) is lovely. “I loved this store so much that I spent an hour looking through downtown Asheville boutiques just to find it hoping to find an online store (maybe someday???????). They had wonderful items for every taste from jewlry to bags, homegoods and accesories, clothes and everything in between. As many others have mentioned, not sure how this doesn't "represent Asheville." I came down from ATL for a long weekend, but everyone I met seemed to have a do whatever makes you happy attitude. Too bad it seems like a select few have decided they are the face and opinions of the entire city. ??”
