“I shop here pretty often at this location pretty often since it's really close to where I live but the shopping experience lately has been a "mess". I don't know why but I feel like they are understaffed and sometimes the self-checkouts are not working. The organization of the products etc. could have been better, too.”
“This is a newer building. It's very bright, large and airy. Big selection. Have grown up in CT I so miss the packies. They were always in such interesting little holes in the wall. I hate that I left before I got to enjoy them. 🤣🤷”
“This is by far the most warm and inviting wine shop I've ever encountered. They care about their regulars, have an encyclopedic knowledge of wine and are eager to help. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks guys!”
“I shop here for their gyro meat. The store is always clean and well organized. The cashier is always friendly and answers my questions. I often find something new to try after browsing the aisles. Prices are reasonable for a specialty food store.”
“Danielle was so helpful and so knowledgeable about the French and Italian whites we purchased. My sister is visiting and she has a refined taste, and Danielle knew exactly how to quench her palate.”
“On my last visit the cashier gave me paper bags instead of a plastic bag. Being a stroke survivor, and traveling far on the bus to my favorite ABC Store it made a difference. This was my worst experience at the store in all the years I have gone there 🙃!”
“Great place to shop for wines, ports, cigars, etc. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. I've been to several locations and depending on State laws, some stores even have liquors too.”
“This liquor store offers a wide selection of spirits, catering to various tastes and preferences. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, providing assistance in finding the right products. The store is well-organized, making it easy to navigate and locate items. Prices are competitive, and they often have promotions or discounts available. Overall, it's a great place to shop for all your alcohol needs.”
“I never leave reviews, but this felt necessary - we did an at home wine tasting with Nick, and it truly was superior service. He helped me plan the right wines for the event and was a wealth of knowledge during the event. He provided the service free of charge we only had to pay for the wine, which is unheard of - most people are charging around 100-200$ for an hour of their time - He explained everything extremely well and answered our thousands of questions with a lot of patience - truly made the experience 10/10!!! Would recommend to anyone and would definitely do this again for our next event!”
“Store was out of Buffalo Trace and a very helpful and friendly employee gave a suggestion of something new to try. We really liked it and appreciated how nice everyone was.”
“I’ve visited this World Market multiple times, and Alyssa at the register is always so kind and welcoming. She’s very talkative in the best way and makes customers feel comfortable and appreciated. She helped me sign up for the rewards program, and every time I’m there I hear her consistently encouraging customers to sign up for the awards points too. You can tell she really cares about her job and gives great customer service.
This location is always clean, organized, and nicely presented. I love shopping here because there are so many cute finds every time I visit. Keep shining, Alyssa!”
“This is a wonderful locally owned wine shop. I've only been a handful of times, but every time I've visited I've been thoroughly impressed with the knowledge and helpfulness of the people working there. I know very little about wine and am also pretty cheap, but the staff has always helped me pick interesting and reasonably priced wine. They really know their stuff and are able to provide helpful information in a way I can understand. This place is a real gem in south Durham.”
“Pretty decent rum selection! They even have a W&N local sub for Jamaican white overproof. Coruba dark was a nice find but it's special order - of course. Minimal premium mezcal though.”

“Great variety of liquors and very good service. The people who serve are very friendly, every time I have gone it has not taken me long to pay, the service is fast and the place is clean, good parking”
“Good food quality, especially fresh produce. The store updates have been great and now there's a bar, full Starbucks, drive through pharmacy and better check out flow.”
“My wife and I are fans of this ABC Store located in Meadowmont Village, just off 54 in Chapel Hill. It's clean, feels safe, and the customer service has been good on our two visits so far. This ABC Store is small compared to others, but it's had what we've wanted. My wife picked up some tequila for margaritas and I got part of my groomsmen gifts here. I think the same guy helped us both times. For the gifts, shortly after we entered, he asked us if he could help us look for anything. After telling him that I was looking for bourbon to gift to my groomsmen, he immediately had something in mind and walked us down to the shelf where bottles of Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack Double Mellowed Tennessee Whiskey sat. He said it was nice bourbon and that was good enough for me. I trusted his opinion. He sounded genuine and he's the expert, not me. We grabbed six 375 mL bottles at $18.95 each. After 7% North Carolina state tax, my total rang up to $121.66. The bottles looked nice and I thought they were an ideal gift. The employee got us a box to transport the whiskey. They reuse empty beverage boxes for this purpose, like the boxes at Costco. He got me a Suntory Whisky box that fit all six bottles perfectly. They're strict about IDs here. First thing after we entered, we were asked if we were both at least 21 and had IDs. You can't make a purchase here unless everyone in your party is at least 21 and has identification to prove it. My wife and I are from Georgia (where ABC isn't even a thing, BTW). Before ringing us up, the employee scanned the code(s) on the back of our Georgia driver's licenses. Surprisingly, in over 20 years, that was the first time I'd ever seen that done. This is one of three ABC Stores in Chapel Hill. The other two locations are at 251 Perkins Drive and 1724 Fordham Boulevard. These are part of the Orange County ABC Store network that includes eight locations total. The other Orange County locations are in Carrboro, Eno, Hillsborough, and Mebane.”
“I needed gluten free flatbread to make homemade pizza. I'm not familiar with GF bec it was for a guest. I approached the bread man who was stocking named Kevin. He was super nice and all he had was loaf and he directed me to the bakery/deli section after telling me to also check frozen. I headed first to deli. A nice young woman named Jamiya in the deli, instead of telling me where to look, walked me all over the store including back to the bread guy to get more info on GF. We went to refrig biscuit section w/ no luck, pie crusts section then finally found GF frozen pizza dough. Another employee Kirsten helped join in the search as well. Jamiya even read off some of the ingredients/directions on the packaging bec I could not see very well. Outstanding service! I haven't been treated this well in a very long time. Bravo Harris Teeter! I wanted to do a HT survey but there wasn't one on my receipt. This is my new go to store. Has it's gas station at bottom of parking lot- very convenient.”

“This is the best possible pharmacy experience, every time. I’ve recommended everyone I know in the area to switch to this HT. Everyone is helpful, kind, friendly, and deserves to be paid way above market rate for their superior service. Love it!”
“Absolutely the best store!!! We have never been here...I cannot believe the selections and how many imported foods and drinks they have here. We will definitely go back again.”

“Not the biggest store or selection but everyone who works there is cheerful and willing to have a chat when not busy. Reminds me of a "country store" vibe.”

“The store is well-run, but the people who run the Express Lane out of this location are incredible. My orders are always on time, substitutions are appropriate, and they communicate well. I use grocery pickup for work most days of the week, and they’re so reliable that I’ll never use Instacart again.”
“Extremely clean, staff quickly offered help with our asking....I was reaching for an item. The layout of this one was a little different than the one in my local areas.”
“Love the store but don't shop here, expensive for me, a senior. Once in awhile I'll get the fried chicken, the best baked beans, slaw, and Jalapeño cornbread from the deli.”
“This Harris Teeter was very similar to other ones. The produce section was much more fresh than the other ones I have been too. The shelves were a little bare but I did come late afternoon on a Sunday so that was expected. The parking lot can be a challenge during busy times. It was very hard to pull out of the parking lot and there were other cars coming from every direction.”

“Really cool employees and very easy to get into and out of with ease. The other feature is that you can go to Lowe’s foods, right next door, and complete your indulgences.”
“This store is always well stocked with many different size selections and flavors. Staff is always friendly and greet you with a smile. Give this location a try when going by.”

“Molly is the pharmacist who helped me, and she is very knowledgeable and makes the extra effort. Even though the pharmacy had just closed and she was leaving, she saw I was looking at the different Tylenols and came over to help me. My little 2 year old granddaughter was sick and she walked me through the different medications for her. I'm very grateful.”
“When you think of grocery stores you don't think there's going to be a bar in them. But they had a live band. Two people and people were dancing. It was crazy to see that in a grocery store but I loved it.”
“this store is always neat as a pin and shelves are fully stocked. very efficient checkout, staff is friendly, although the presence of an armed officer at all times is a little hard to ignore, it makes sense here (I'm looking at you Harris Teeter, why do you need full-time armed security for a grocery store?)”
“Perfect place to go right before they close on a Friday night. No wait, and what a large collection of liquor. I went in and was surprised that they had goldschlager on display.”
