In addition, they are a STIHL distributor and carry in stock pretty much every tool STIHL makes. There’s farm animal foods and supplies, and fun items like large plant urns, rain gauges, wind socks, and more.”

Billy designed a beautiful new front and backyard landscaping project for me. Ryan and the rest of the install team did an excellent job in making the vision come to life. Norberto also helped tremendously with all of my questions. My neighbors saw the work FGS did and had their project installed today (which also looks fantastic!). Cannot recommend them enough!”
“This place is nice. I mainly go here to get dog food because they have a decent selection. I found out that my dogs regular food was recalled for being poisonous but luckily my dog has a strong will and spirit.
Before learning that his food was potentially hazardous, I watched my dog dine on a multitude of wild animals instead of eating his regular food. He carefully dug up moles from the ground, caught a large rabbit, ran down a squirrel, and day by day he showed me that he was indeed born and raised in the wild. I knew that he was, because that's where I found him, with his shining black coat and white socks. He was thriving on his own, but chose to follow me home and sleep on my stoop until I finally accepted him as my own.
Anyway, I tried out a new bag of food and he seems to like it. He hasn't been hunting lately but still chases the birds. He hasn't caught a bird since 2014.
Update: my dog broke out and shook a birds nest out of my cypress tree and ate all of the baby birds. He will never die and he will never give up.”

“The Rock Shop is a great source for all your landscaping needs. They always have a variety of items onsite for quick pickup and also deliver. Looking for mulch, stone, gravel…look no further! Don’t go to Lowe’s or Home Depot and buy bags of mulch. Buy local and support small businesses in Durham.”
“I had an incredible experience today with Ryan! He was so patient and professional and knowledgeable and kind. He answered all of my questions and even took the time to let me show him all of my houseplants one by one on my phone. He went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience and because of him I will definitely be coming back here for all of my plant needs. Also- the plants are so beautiful here!!! I left thinking- wow I would love to just hang out here. Thank you Ryan and thank you Durham Garden Center!!!”

“This is by far the best plant store in the area! So many unique plants and gardening items that you can’t find anywhere else. The people who work there are friendly and are well informed about their inventory. You should just go to hang out! It’s a fun store!”
