“A great selection of indoor plants available in September. They were also growing a wide selection of viola and vegetables for the cooler weather. It just needs more informative signage.”
“Their now not so new location (where Pine State Electric once was) gives alot more space. Glad they are still around to advise on many topics related to gardening!”
“Pet friendly store i stopped in looking for dog toys for Christmas. Staff was super friendly.and great selection. If the parking was more convenient would be my only complaint. Very congested intersecton in Ninth street area of Durham. Still a great shopping experience.”
“Highly recommend
I went in and asked a lot of questions for a fire pit area I am doing in my backyard. They were very helpful and estimated how much rock I would need and it was exactly enough! It was reasonably priced for the rock and delivery and they were able to deliver the next day. They arrived on time and unloaded everything quickly and exactly where I needed it. They were very friendly and great to work with. Will definitely come back for future projects.”
“I had a bad experience at my local garden center, so I decided to try out Durham Garden Center and I was not disappointed! I was greeted when I stepped in. All of their houseplants looked healthy. And as I was checking out, the young man gave me very good Venus Flytrap advice. I don't get his name, but shoutout to him (he was tall, and he also spoke really good Spanish!)”
“Nice nursery with a good selection of native and non-native plants, trees, and shrubs. Pricing is very fair and the plants are well maintained. Also has mulch and landscaping products (I was not looking for these products today). Staff was friendly and helpful. Even got some fresh eggs! Very worth the trip and will definitely visit again. (Plant sale currently running! September 2026).”

“This team of guys are very knowledgeable & helpful. I do my research, call them & they educate me on my lawn care. Very pleased with their service & products.”
“Ab, in customer service is Absolutely Phenomenal! I called in last month from another state needing some warranty information to assist my 90yr old grandmother. I was hoping that I would get someone that was helpful, and I did! I explained to Ab what the issue was and what I needed and she was BEYOND helpful! I Greatly appreciated her assistance and how courteous she was.”
“I've gone here a few times before and had great experiences, but this last one takes the cake.
I was interested in purchasing a grill, but I couldn't find any in-box (not pre-built) for the specific model I was looking for. I asked an associate, Barry, if he knew if there were any still in-box in stock. The two of us went on a hunt, as some of the designated locations in his system didn't have anything on the shelf.
After what was probably 10 minutes of him just helping me out, we finally found the last in-box grill on the top of a shelf. He used the mechanical lift to get it himself and when we brought it over to checkout, he made sure a discount was applied to it due to our adventure to find it.
Turns out, Barry didn't even work in that area. He was part of plumbing, but took the time to make sure I found what I needed.
Barry, thank you so much for all your help!”
“Came in to pick up a door for a customer. Dalton was very friendly and very helpful getting us our order and bringing it out to the car for us. This Home Depot is definitely top-notch!”
“Had great service from Ben this afternoon. He helped me select stones for a walking path, and he loaded them carefully onto a cart. Professional and friendly interaction”
“Thanks to Barry in plumbing for his knowledge and willingness to go above and beyond for a D.I.Y Project that I had no business attempting!. . . He was a lot better than You Tube!. . . And also to Linda and Heather for their professional assistance and input to the project! I know that customer service sometimes can be aggravating when the right questions are not conveyed to the associate, however this Team and this Home Depot are doing a great job!
Thanks Again guys,
Todd”
“Dalton was great!! He was the cashier who helped me during my visit. He was super friendly, helpful, and kind. He answered questions I had about the credit card and helped me find items around the store. I tried to leave a survey review for him but I couldn't get it to work. Hopefully this message reaches him. Thank you for all of your help, Dalton! You were great! I will definitely return to this Home Depot because of his customer service! Merry Christmas!”

“We stoped by today to get ideas for our front yard. Amy was so incredibly helpful! We showed her pictures of the space and she showed us several options. I was surprised to find there were so many things to choose from. We also worked with Sunshine who was very helpful. After we left I recommended the nursery to a friend of mine.”
