“On Friday, June 14th around 3:00, I stopped into the Dollar tree to pick up a few items. Standing in line I noticed a new cashier. This woman had such a lovely way with everyone. Before me, there were two children ( age 10-12 ) & then a woman with lots of stuff & then me. This woman, makes a great improvement to the store & I hope she stays. It takes a certain personality to deal with the public.”
“Even though the prices have increased to $1.25, I can ALWAYS find something there either to try as a snack, to drink, or to craft with. I am not that thrilled with the $3 and $5 sections, but... It is what it is.”

I shopped here on a Monday afternoon around 3:30. I had not shopped at this location for over two years since moving to a different area in Durham. Normally I shop at N.Pointe or Duke St.
I was so overwhelmed and impressed with the lovely condition of this store, I felt compelled to compliment the two ladies working there.
I hardly ever leave reviews, good or bad on Google, but this store really deserved the effort.

“Jason was so sweet! He was the only one working when I came in and he was stocking shelves and still came to greet me when I came through the door. He memorized the isles and was attentive so he was up at the register when I was ready to check out. I’be been in the service industry for over 10 years and we definitely need more people like him!!I wrote that review a few days ago. Came back up to the store and Taiwanna was working and she was also so sweet and amazing! She was so patient with me and took her time making sure the transaction was correct:) I felt so bad about making people wait and she made me feel better and comfortable with my purchases. We really do need more wonderful people like these two in this world! Thank you both!”

“Because of my work, I arrived a little late at 8:22 pm, they close at 9:00 pm, their face when I entered their store said "everything", I better leave, he asked me if I would come back one day, I don't know.”
“Marcus and Ian were both helpful in finding different things that I needed. Friendly customer service, and the checkout line moved quickly. A+ service today and while they were the only 2 employees there, they efficiently took care of their customers and handled a truck delivery. I was impressed!”
“I had 1 of the nicest cashiers that I've had at any store in a long time. He was multi-tasking, ringing up customers, speaking to those entering(including asking 1 if he had a mask & to please put it on). He also noticed a customer in line with overloaded arms & got guy a basket. Hakim was name on my receipt. Letters we're peeling off his name tag.”

“There were lots of boxes sitting on the floor waiting to be put on the shelves. So many items to choose from on each isle. It wasn't too busy, so only I person was checking people out. They already have Halloween, Thanksgiving and fall items out. There was one person stocking the shelves. She was very nice, asking customers if they needed any help.”
“I never know what I'm going to end up buying here, that's part of the fun. To give Dollar tree some credit, most of the things for sale are $1.25, which is not a dollar but it's better than the prices at Family Dollar where things are just as expensive as any other retail store.”

“It's a Dollar Tree. Not much different from the rest. This one does not have a frozen food section. Best place to buy greeting cards and single serving candy.”
