“Management and employees were patient and personable. Cashier directioned me to the exact aisle/product I needed for my sick animal. The store was neat and organized. The Manager and cashier were more than patient with me when my card wouldn't go through right at closing. Manager asked if I had my card locked! Yes! I did it earlier when I had received a call of fraud on my bank account. We unfroze my card and checked out successfully. Thankful. My frazzled state of mind was relieved by the smiling, understanding patience of both of these women. Much appreciated. Thank you again, ladies!”

“I think Dollar General might be one of my favorite store. I enjoy the quality of most product, really like the the fact that they have everything you need with the convenience of not being so packed like a supercenter, and the fact there there's a Dollar General everywhere is amazing. Decent priced items and let me tell you about the customer service there never been a time where the staff isn't friendly as well as helpful.”
“All the Dollar Trees seem to over work their staff. The stock can't put on the shelves because there isn't enough staff. I suggest HIRE SENIOR CITIZENS TO WORK PART TIME TO PUT STOCK UP. HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS THAT ONLY CAN COME IN A FEW HRS . a day.

“I was looking for a Family Dollar to go into so I Google find one and I came into 1518 South Miami Blvd. and I was helped by Crystal, who actually walked around the store with me see as how I haven’t really been shopping in a long time by myself And she took me through pointed out what I should and shouldn’t get. She will put me back onto my Kool-Aid that I was looking for Then I came in Deidre closed out the deal and help me with the rest of it. I think that these are too nice young ladies that’ll go above and beyond to help customers.”

“The young lady named Diedre at the 3825 Roxboro St store is such a personable person. E erytime she's the cashier I have a pleasant visit. She smiles and holds pleasant conversations. Always a pleasant smile. The other cashiers barely look at you and ALWAYS frowning. I actually don't like going there when Deidre is not there.”

“Jason was so sweet! He was the only one working when I came in and he was stocking shelves and still came to greet me when I came through the door. He memorized the isles and was attentive so he was up at the register when I was ready to check out. I’be been in the service industry for over 10 years and we definitely need more people like him!!I wrote that review a few days ago. Came back up to the store and Taiwanna was working and she was also so sweet and amazing! She was so patient with me and took her time making sure the transaction was correct:) I felt so bad about making people wait and she made me feel better and comfortable with my purchases. We really do need more wonderful people like these two in this world! Thank you both!”
“I just left the store at 11:56 am. The male cashier was phenomenal as far as customer service goes. I’m so used to the people that work at establishments around Durham not really being friendly, but he caught me off guard the way that he greeted me when I came into the store. He was also very pleasant when he checked me out at the register. I would’ve given him ten stars for that experience if I could have. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️???”
“This Dollar Tree is one of the best. Don't listen to any of these low ratings because it is simply not true. Especially JW, what a bunch of crap. The bathroom was fine and the manger is so nice. Underrated store.”
“There were lots of boxes sitting on the floor waiting to be put on the shelves. So many items to choose from on each isle. It wasn't too busy, so only I person was checking people out. They already have Halloween, Thanksgiving and fall items out. There was one person stocking the shelves. She was very nice, asking customers if they needed any help.”
“Been closed for a few days no air conditioning in their building! UPDATE NOVEMBER 1st 2025: so the store is back in operation and although there is the one rude employee there are many new and extremely polite and professional employees!! Glad to have the change and store is open again!!”

“Store opens 9 am 10 pm. Mon- Saturday
9am 9pm sunday. I know google says something different but unfortunately we don’t control the lights and we cannot assist customers properly without proper lighting. We are working with our upper management to resolve this issue.”
