Design Within Reach (DWR) is preparing to open a beautiful new Studio in the South End Design District of Charlotte, North Carolina in fall 2018. The area is known for its art galleries, shops, restaurants, residences, and hotels, and is served by light rail and adjacent to the Charlotte Rail Trail. In the meantime, DWR has a pop-up store open just a block away from the new location, offering a wide selection of modern sofas, chairs, tables, lighting, flooring, task chairs, and more. Customers have had wonderful experiences at the DWR store. They were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable sales associates, such as Star and Douglas, who helped guide them through chair options and made sure they got what they needed. The store's atmosphere feels more like a curated museum than a typical retail space, allowing customers to envision how the items might look in their own homes. The general manager, Rick, and sales associate, James, have also provided excellent customer service. Customers were able to fully evaluate chairs in person before purchasing, and the staff made themselves available to answer follow-up questions and provide thorough virtual demos. Overall, customers have been highly satisfied with the DWR Charlotte location and the care they received from the staff.
We went in because my wife had seen a mirror she loved. Starr greeted us immediately and made us feel right at home. She reviewed color options with us and made the ordering process seamless. She had amazing energy and we would definitely recommend that anyone that walks in to the store ask for Starr!
