“Stayed here for one night.

Overall: A nice stay. Great service. The pool needs to be cleaned and filtered better.

Breakfast and dinner buffet were included and great! We were given 2 free drinks each— tasted great! During both meals we were greeted by the managers on duty asking how our food and stay are.

Honorable mention:
Denise greeted us at the front desk. She was very welcoming and kind throughout our stay.

Only downside:
We went swimming and once getting in the pool you can tell the water is not very clean or filtered properly. You couldn’t see the bottom of the pool very well and could see things (like toilet paper or paper towel?) floating in the water.
The hot tub was good and we chose to spend most of our time there.”

“We had our wedding at the Morehead Inn in March, and it was such an amazing experience. Brooke, who works with Something Classic at the Morehead Inn, was absolutely on top of it from Day 1. She is incredibly professional, detailed, kind and helpful. She answered all of our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. She even went with me to our rental appointment to help with linens when I was overwhelmed! On top of that, the venue itself is so charming and special. We really wanted an intimate feel even though we were having 140ish guests. We also wanted indoor/outdoor and vintage charm, and it was perfect on all fronts. The teams behind the scene were incredible and we got so many compliments on the food - they use Something Classic Catering only. I can't recommend it enough. Thank you all!”

“We just checked in and the employee at the reception was so nice and very helpful!! She made us feel welcome right away! We stop here every year when we are driving through from Florida to Ohio and this has been our best experience yet! I highly recommend this location. Theres great restaurants and shopping within 5 minutes of this location.”

“Solid location. Everyone was really friendly. When leaving the room in the morning, I asked for the room to be serviced, and it WAS just hours after asking, if not sooner! Just wish the sink and counter area were larger. No door (like other rooms) to the closet area. And there was a hole in the closet wall that was not fixed, just taped up. Some spots in the shower that could easily be cleaned.”

“Stayed here this pass week for a business trip. The company I worked for booked this location and after reading the reviews I was pretty impressed. At first I can’t lie I was skeptical. However upon checking in the manager made me feel very welcomed ( I think her name started with a J). My room was clean and comfortable and I slept like a baby. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I’m in Charlotte.”

“Recently stayed at Aloft in Ballantyne with work. We were all so impressed with Stephanie, the bartender. Even when it was busy, she was all over it and provided amazing service, all while being friendly and personable!”

“10/10 Experience — The Valet Team Set the Tone!

I stayed at the Kimpton in Charlotte over the weekend for a girls’ trip, and I am big on first impressions. From the moment we arrived, the valet team made us feel genuinely welcomed.

Dre, Caroll, and Anthony were absolutely amazing! They were pleasant, professional, helpful, and always ready and willing to assist us. Every time we came in or left the hotel, they greeted us with such great energy and outstanding hospitality and not just with us but we witness this with others guest well . Their customer service truly stood out and set the tone for our entire stay. They are definitely an asset to this hotel and deserve recognition for the experience they provide guests.

The front desk staff was also very efficient during check-in and made sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance and location are a 10/10, and our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Housekeeping was great as well—anything we requested was delivered within a reasonable amount of time.

Overall, we had an amazing experience. My girls and I have already decided that this will be our hotel whenever we visit Charlotte, and we plan on visiting pretty often!

“I just wanted to share a quick note about my recent stay and recognize the Guest Service Manager. From what I saw she was doing a really great job making sure everything ran smoothly and that guests were taken care of during checkin. The line was wrapped in the lobby and she stepped right on in to handle me. I came in town for a concert and was running extremely behind. So her getting me checked in quickly made my day. I also noticed how supportive and respectful she came across with the staff, which created a positive vibe throughout the hotel. It honestly made the whole place feel organized and well managed. Everyone was nice but I want to acknowledge her. I just wanted to make sure someone passed along that she is doing an excellent job.”

“Shout to the 3 women working the front desk this past Sat 7/18/26 around 6pm. They ROCKED IT!!!

There was 4 major events happening downtown that night, everyone(including myself) decided to all check-in at the same time, which resulted in a MASSIVE non-stop line that went all the way to the back of the building. These women kept the line moving, at a nice steady pace and made everyone feel important as they checked in. I just wanted to share this because they handled the insanity so beautifully that it left me in awe and I just wanted to share that on here.

I would stay here time and time again due to the wonderful staff you have on site.”

“I came to see a Gorillaz concert at The Spectrum center which is very close by. The hotel is huge and very well appointed. Modern but comfy. I enjoyed the Dogwood restaurant. The hotel overall is very clean Andy room was nice. Valet was quick and easy and all of the staff were kind and quick. Loved having robes and slippers in the room as well as the bath products. One of the better Westin hotels I have stayed at recently. I’ll definitely be back.”

“We just checked in and within 20 minutes the quality and service has been 5 star.

Mike helped us with baggage and was excellent showing us around the room and being hospitable.

Connor at the front desk heard my daughter left her stuffed dog at home and within 10 minutes brought a stuffed animal and kids bag to the room for my daughter.

The room is also excellent.

“I struggle writing this review because while we liked certain aspects of the stay/hotel they were some things I wanted to note that surprised us.The location is perfect, it's easy to find and parking is easily accessible. Once we arrived we got to the rooms and couldn't figure out which one was actually ours because they're numbered 1-5 and our reservation didn't indicate what number we had. I called the manager and left a voicemail asking but never heard back our entire stay even though the reservation notes indicated to call or text if needed since there is no staff on site. We ended up just going down the hall putting our code in each door until we found our own. The rooms are fantastic, they're clean and comfortable and I love the vibe of each room.Directly outside the rooms is a full bar that opens at 4 and goes until what we thought was midnight but ended up being closer to 1AM. They're open to the public and it gets packed so be prepared for a lot of people in the hallway and standing outside your room. It is loud and while we did find earplugs the hotel provided just be prepared for how loud it will be and how long into the evening it goes. Even once closing the staff cleaning up was chatting as normal until about 2:30AM and you could hear all of those conversations as well. All that said, the bar has an incredible cocktail menu and the bartender and other staff were all extremely friendly so if you stay here definitely grab a drink to try.Overall though we liked Refuge, the rooms were comfortable and nice but there were just a few things we encountered that we weren't expecting that contributed to a lower star rating.”

Property Condition: The facilities are very well-maintained. Everything from the lobby decor to the elevators and fitness areas felt updated, functional, and deeply cared for.
Amazing Service: The staff truly went above and beyond. Every team member I encountered was incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Excellent customer service makes such a huge difference, and the team here nails it.

“We stayed 1 night in June 2026. Spent the day at Carowinds. We arrived early and no rooms were available, but we were able to park and leave the car and walk to the park. Its about a 10 min walk to the entrance of Carowinds.

Room was nice. Breakfast was good. No complaints. The parking lot has a gate - so you either scan room key or push button to exit.

Very convenient if you like being able to enter/leave Carowinds throughout the day.”

“We had booked a room across the street at a horrible hotel. Check in person was super nice. The rooms were so bad. We chose to forfeit the money and found this amazing place. Yes, it was double the price but worth it! Check in person was awesome! Room was clean and comfortable. I'm more than satisfied! Definitely stay here!”

“I personally love the Drury Inn & Suites chain, and this location in Charlotte, North Carolina, did not disappoint. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. One of my favorite things about staying at Drury is the complimentary breakfast and evening snacks, and everything was just as good as expected.

The service was outstanding from start to finish. Yasmeen, who checked us in, was super sweet and welcoming. Every staff member we encountered greeted us with a smile and asked how we were doing, which made us feel genuinely valued as guests.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting the Charlotte area!”

I arrived at the Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte Airport Lake Pointe around 11:00 PM and immediately felt safe and welcomed. Security personally walked me to my room, which was a thoughtful touch and greatly appreciated after a long travel day.
The hotel is exceptionally clean, modern, and well maintained. The airport shuttle service was seamless, and they even had fresh coffee ready by 4:45 AM for early travelers.
A special shoutout to Erin, the shuttle driver, who truly made my day and everyone else’s. Friendly, professional, and full of positive energy, Aaron set the tone for a great start to the morning.
From the excellent staff to the cleanliness, safety, and convenience, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone flying through Charlotte.

“Stunning hotel, my room was spotless, housekeeper turned down my bed, set the lighting just right to come back to after a long day, left a little chocolate on the bed, which was a nice touch, whole vibe was welcoming and cozy. Amenities were plenty, makeup face towel, plenty of towels, makeup wipes, lotion, vanity kit, shampoo, coditioner, bodywash. Everything in the room is well thought out to ensure comfort and that you have everything needed. The staff are so helpful, so attentive, I ordered room service one night and was recommended menu items which were delicious, and my food came within 15 minutes. You can't beat the location, and if needed, parking is easy to get to. Looking forward to my next stay.”

Walking into the hotel it smelt so good and fresh
The staff was always so kind and friendly
The room was perfect and clean the person that cleaned the room Zahara I believe did a great job
The breakfast was very good I had an amazing time and didn't want to leave
My friend did get me a gift card for mothers day and it seemed like when I first checked in to use it no one knew how which is totally fine I believe they had new employees
But the man I checked in with at night was able to use it for the second night

“We had a flight delay at 1am. The lady that checked us in was so amazing. Her personality was great that late at night. She was so helpful with our check-in and making sure we had coffee and knew what times the early morning shuttle left the hotel. Our experience with the airline was horrible, but she made up for it. I truly wish I remembered her name, she works 3rd shift and is a very sweet and charismatic black lady.”

“We chose this hotel because it was near the Charlotte airport. At check-in, Twan was friendly and efficient. Our room was very clean and was a nice size and even had a couch. We've never seen a room with two TVs before, one for the beds and one for the couch. Very comfortable! With a desk, refrigerator, microwave, and small sink, one could easily spend an extended stay in this Holiday Inn Express.”

“The staff at this hotel have been AMAZING. The GM Jerika answered my phone call when I had questions about my reservation and when I asked her if she would be there when I checked in she said she wasn’t scheduled but would MAKE sure she was there. And SHE was! She’s been extremely friendly and accommodating as well as the other staff! I had a MINOR issue the first night but after leaving the hospitality industry after 12 almost 13 years, the way the staff handled it was professional and quickly! I was moved into another room the following morning and have been greeted when I leave and come back from my work day! I can truly say that Jerika AND her staff have made me and my child feel extremely welcome AND AT HOME!!! Jerika is TRULY undervalued!!! She has a passion for this industry and THIS hotel! It is another one of her babies!!!”
