    “They need to open up more checkout lanes with humans. Having one open with people lined up is ridiculous. I personally do not like the self check out, they give me trouble every time. Woohoo, way more checkouts were available on my last visit, way to go Walmart. I used the pharmacy on my last visit, and it was an enjoyable experience . I hadn't used the pharmacy in quite a while due to restrictions from my medical insurance. But now that I can shop where I want, and it being one of the few pharmacies open on Sunday, I was able to get the meds I needed for my cold.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard.     Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
