This local family owned business is 124 years old. The owner, who was born and has lived in Mooresville all of his life, is 92 and still comes in every day. Definitely check this one out!”

“I was to attend a wedding reception not far away from this store on Saturday. On the way in to the reception, my daughter got the heel of her shoe caught in a crack in the pavement and broke the heel completely off. As the bride was a friend of hers, I gave her my shoes and took the broken shoe back to the car to see if I could figure out a way to make a temporary repair. I ended up at this store. I must certainly have looked ridiculous dressed up and hobbling into the store wearing one high heel and one shoe with no heel at all. The people working could not have been more helpful. I was escorted to glue aisle and got help reading labels and considering relative drying times and how long it would take me to have viable footwear. Instead of ruining my evening, the shoe incident made my day.”

“I'm a pretty frequent customer at THD depending on the project I have in progress at any given time. This store is conveniently located off I-77 exit 25, not far from Target, Whole Foods and Birkdale. They generally have everything I need in a big box store when I can't wait to receive items in the mail. Of course you pay more, but it is what it is. Staff is always willing to help and I love the self checkout option. Parking is never a problem either.”
“It's a great place because of its location but the problem with them is they never have items in stock although in online it says they do.
So it's always multiple times that happens with me”
