Beach Mountain Diner Dillsboro
489 Haywood Rd, DillsboroWe thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had a delightful seafood omelet, cooked in butter, with perfectly cooked bacon. The waitstaff smiles, knows their menu, and can answer questions about the ingredients. The only fault we had was my husband’s order of biscuits and gravy on our second visit today. The sides of the biscuit were sealed when they were cut, disabling their ability to rise properly, and the middle was a bit doughy. The gravy tasted of uncooked flour rather than a cooked rue before the addition of pepper, salt, and a bit of sausage today. Husband loved the chicken and waffles on the first visit. I’d recommend the cappuccino as it’s made of authentic Italian espresso. Plan ahead for busy times. The patio is fantastic. The art of hospitality is well practiced here.
