One of the ladies went right over and asked if she could give him a dog treat. They clearly have a heart for animals.

1362 E Main St, SylvaOur old vets office had taken some turns for the worse, after many years we switched to Jackson County Veterinary when our cat became sick. They worked us in same day, "old vets said it would be 3 days". Everyone at Jackson County Veterinary is Very Very nice. The cat is back to chasing bugs and lizards around the yard and we have a new vet.

414 W Main St, SylvaThis was one of our favorite places but since the new people have bought it, it's definitely not the same product quality because it's basically kit brewing instead of authentic craft! Don't be fooled by that. If you know then you know. The staff is somewhat the same but now the personality is suppressed because they aren't allowed to be as personable. Whatever works I guess if you are making more money. We've been going there for a very long time but now we probably won't be going any more. It's so sad to see all the places that we have loved for years change for the worse.

Even the lady behind the the bar, the gentleman that seated us and the gentleman sitting at the bar we're all extremely nice. The food was great, especially the crust on the bread. You don't find good crusty Airy bread like old school anymore. My one gripe and I don't even want to call it that is that I ordered a ribeye and once I got into it I knew it was in a ribeye it looked like a sirloin, maybe a New York strip but definitely wasn't a ribeye but that's okay it was good and we were glad to be there

Kind of a weird order set up - even sitting at tables or a booth, you have to go to the bar to order. I believe they brought the food to our table, but the order process was very different from what is expected.
We ordered some chips & dip, and upon asking for a few more chips, the server said, we’ll have to charge you for that. When you’re spending $100+ on dinner, you want to charge me for a handful of chips?
I’ll go back to Balsam Falls for a beer, but not interested I. Another meal.

Shares building with Lazy Hiker, 617 W Main St, SylvaBest housemade vegan condiment options! Thr garlic sauce is unique snd went well on every item me and my partner got... Felt good to have a place like this in Sylva, esp since we struck out several times looking for veg options elsewhere. It was refreshing to have a whole veg menu full of both normal and unique options. Good selection of local brews. Staff was very engaged and kind, easy to hang out alongside. The housemade chips were bangin.

205 Too Sweet Rd, SylvaWe traveled from Charleston,SC 5 hours to pick up our Maltese baby. I can’t say enough about Mary Mccurry. She is top notch & communicated with us through the whole process. She is so knowledgeable & has bred Maltese for so many years. She is very reasonably priced. Her puppies are exceptional! My little guy just adapted so well when we got him home. He is so playful! He went right into his crate the 1st night. We have only had him 3 days but he is so settled in… just amazes me. Thank you Mary!
