“The woman behind the counter of Circle K #3368 in Dobson NC, Monica, helped me out of a pickle of a situation. My family had inadvertently left me stranded thinking I was in the back seat of their vehicle. I did not have any personal possessions on me, including my cell phone. Since I did not have anybody's phone number memorized, she allowed me to use her cell phone to google the phone number of my sister's business; then called my sis so that she could get hold of my family who drove away! She looked after me offering me a seat, etc until my family could backtrack on the highway to pick me up. Big thanks to Monica for her generosity and compassion! It was a tale of a story and likely difficult for her to believe at first. Plus, I was wearing my black N95 mask, lol.”

“Stopped here to get coffee and use the bathroom. The place was very clean. They have a lot of nice merchandise as well as Shelton Vineyards wines. Mike was working at the cash registers. He was very friendly, polite and helpful! I purchased my coffee and went on my way.”

“Joe is awesome at this store however the staff at night is not . They are unfriendly, unhelpful and are more concerned with their cell phones than customers . I ask if they had something and was told they use to I asked where it would be and was told they don’t know and went right back to their phone. This is not the first time with a not great experience with this same cashier . She doesn’t seem to care and is not friendly to any customers . I never once heard her say thank you to anyone. I’ll go during the day however no more at night .”

“Sheetz is Sheetz. This location in Dobson is rarely super busy so it's a quick in and out. The folks here are friendly and helpful as you would expect in a small town. I do enjoy their sliders and they are made to order. The interior is kept clean so I find no reason to not support this local business.”
“This is nice little BP, the Exit is confusing. The joint is cool hipster setting with the wine. The joint is pretty clean I think I didn't quite like the bathrooms. The bathrooms were semi-dirty but I felt somewhat safe in there and I was worry about so we kick in the door and barging in on me.”

“Last year we were on our way to Pennsylvania and were pulling our 6x10 enclosed trailer with our suv. After pulling up a pretty steep hill on 77, the engine temp started to go up, then I noticed what looked like smoke behind our vehicle. I pulled to the shoulder and shut it down, lifted the hood and was antifreeze all over the engine compartment. These guys were Johnny on the Spot. The towed our suv and trailer to the service station, after dropping us at a hotel. (It was about 5pm I think). They must have gone right to work on the problem, because I got a call at 8:30 the next morning, and the guy said, "are you ready?" and I said what do you mean? He said, "your all set." I couldn't believe it. They had it all repaired, picked us up at the hotel and we were back on the road by 10AM. The repair was very inexpensive. They replaced the thermostat and broken thermostat housing.I can't praise them enough. Dobson Citgo is FANTASTIC!”
