I called and was given a same day appointment for my nervous shepherd with accommodation allowing me to go in the back to keep him calm. Morgan was very polite and answered my questions as well as patient with my dog's squirming and whining. He got bathed, ears and face cleaned, blown, brushed, dremeled, and his teeth were brushed. Finally, he got a fragrance spray of my choice. He looks and smells great and I'll be going back next time he needs a deep cleaning

1143 Stony Knoll Rd, DobsonWhen we got there, we were the only folks visiting. The owner stopped by our table to greet us and we ended up talking wines for nearly an hour. Young, friendly, and quite knowledgeable owner.
Best Chambourcin I have had. Usually not a big fan but their Hungarian Oak offering is superb. Good whites as well. My wife does not usually enjoy Viognier but bought three bottles, her only purchase of that varietal on a long trip.
The tasting room is elegant and comfortable. They also have a delightful outdoor space. There are a number of larger, better advertised wineries in the area but Stoney Knoll is every bit as good. They are small but very focused on their products. It shows!!!

Herrera Vineyards
231 Vineyard Ln, DobsonWe went to Herrera once and loved it but this was at least 6 years ago. We've been by several times since then only to find the gate closed. I see postings, on their website, from Herrera stating that they are in the process of redoing their restaurant and wine tasting room to make the experience better. How long will this take? I know it's been at last 4 years since were open. I have to wonder if they're closed permanently which is really sad since we did enjoy out one visit there.

Coach's Neighborhood Grill Dobson
134 Twin Oaks Rd, DobsonTried this place out yesterday and wasn't disappointed. The Jalepeno burger was probably the best burger I've ever had. Also the corn nuggets were delicious! And our waitress was Great!
