Duck's Cottage is a sweet and adorable coffee shop and bookstore in Duck, North Carolina, located right near the boardwalk shops. It is a must-visit place for great coffee, with recommendations for the Mucky Duck, Sand Shark, coconut coffee, and iced dirt chai. The staff is kind, efficient, friendly, and relaxed, working hard to keep the line moving very quickly even when it is long and crowded. The place is small with very limited seating, but this adds to the overall ambience. It also offers an amazing selection of books and gifts, providing something for everyone. Many visitors make it a regular stop for coffee, beans, and books to bring home, and also recommend the butter cake.
I came in, and I asked the worker with a Gov’t Mule shirt on if she could replicate my favorite coffee recipe from Mississippi called a Cookie Monster. She looked at the recipe and was able to replicate it, honestly she made it taste better than usual! Definitely go to ducks cottage.

Went to this sweet coffee shop every morning during our week-long stay in Duck. The line is long but moves very quickly. Don't be scared. Stick it out. The staff is kind and efficient! The iced dirth chai i ordered was delicious. Only complaint was the line made it hard to browse the books at the same time because it was crowded. But an adorable coffee shop and lots of selection.
