Duck's Cottage is a sweet and adorable coffee shop and bookstore in Duck, North Carolina, located right near the boardwalk shops. It is a must-visit place for great coffee, with recommendations for the Mucky Duck, Sand Shark, coconut coffee, and iced dirt chai. The staff is kind, efficient, friendly, and relaxed, working hard to keep the line moving very quickly even when it is long and crowded. The place is small with very limited seating, but this adds to the overall ambience. It also offers an amazing selection of books and gifts, providing something for everyone. Many visitors make it a regular stop for coffee, beans, and books to bring home, and also recommend the butter cake.
Duck Cottage is a must-visit for us when we are in OBX. 14 years in a row now. Coffee is good, people are friendly and the bookstore is charming. I always get a few bags to take back with me to enjoy the OBX vibe a little longer.

Great coffee! Can get very busy. Good people. The line moves, but can be annoying, they do a good job to get you through quickly.
