Island Bookstore is a fantastic little shop and an annual must in the OBX. It is a full-priced bookstore with a great selection for all ages, especially for kids and young readers, plus journals, cards, and small gifts. The store gives off cool treehouse vibes, with an upstairs to check out. The staff at all locations is always helpful, very pleasant, and offers helpful book selections, including a staff favorites section. It is a must stop for readers and a favorite place to visit.
Ton of books I never see at my home bookstores. Located in a cool area with plenty of food and drink options. Very good selection of books and I left there with at least five books. Staff was also very friendly and pleasant.

Cute shop, had a real cozy feel. Some unique items, book seller was very nice wish we'd had more time to explore it more. Would definitely recommend.
