Michaels, a craft and party supply retailer, offers an expansive assortment of art supplies, fabrics, canvases, yarn, knitting and crochet materials, frames, floral, scrapbook items, beads, jewelry kits, Cricuts, and craft machines. The store also provides party planning solutions, including balloon inflation, decorations, gift packaging, favors, tableware, and seasonal occasion decor. While the Durham branch is praised for its helpful framing department, the customer experience can vary. Some reviews mention a great selection but a poor cashier experience, an unorganized store during a reset, and accessibility challenges due to cluttered aisles and checkout setup. Despite these mixed reviews, Michaels remains a go-to destination for craft enthusiasts and those seeking party supplies.
Always seems to have more than I need for a craft project! Store was clean. Used self checkout but attendant there was courteous and greeted me. Will shop there again.
