“It’s a place full of kind people and great service! They are willing to help and don’t just think about the money you can spend, but about providing quality service! They checked my tires because a light came on in my dashboard; there was nothing wrong, they just managed to turn it off and told me I didn’t owe anything.”

“Fast and polite. Price is very competitive. Great warrants offered. Just recently I got some new tires and almost within a month I hit a curb that was covered with snow behind a shopping center, the next day I drove in and explained the situation to the person at the front desk (James) and he took me outaide to check the gash. After the inspection, we walked back in and pulled my information up via phone #, I paid about 47 dollars and 15-20 mins later I had a new tire installed and ready to roll out. Didn't have to pay 300+ for a new tire.”

“This store (at South Square in Durham. NC) has never done me wrong and I’ve had three sets of tires replaced over the years.
Since there are a lot more nails and other debris on the roadway is here than there were 15 years ago, I have started to get the tire repair and replacement policy and it feels worthwhile. I had to get one tire replaced on my last set due to irreparable damage to sidewall from a screw. Free of charge thanks to the insurance. I used to have one flat tire every 15 years or so and recently I’ve had one every year at times despite watching the road like a hawk.

I never have to worry about getting a fair price or inexplicable delays here. I’ve never experienced upselling and everyone I’ve interacted with communicates well and seems professional. For example, I requested an alignment, and there was some question about whether it could be done because Volkswagen‘s require custom tools and what not. But the technician called me to tell me exactly what could and could not be done and give me the option to proceed or pass. I’ve dealt with various garages and tire shops over the years and most places do not bother to communicate to that extent.

I usually prefer small non-corporate businesses, but discount tire is one of the exceptions I make because they are good at what they do and show it.”

“I was able to pull up and have an interior patch done on a tire for a very good price. They are cash only but I paid half of what I was expecting. Very professional and quick. In and out in under 30 min!”

“I was headed to a vet appointment with my dog in the car when I ran over something on N Roxboro that punctured my tire. I happened to pull into Precision Tune as I was trying to get off the road to address my flattening tire. I explained the situation to the woman at the front desk who was very kind and understanding. They let me bring my dog into the waiting area while they were putting on my spare tire, charged me a very fair price and did the work in less than 30min. It was very hot out and I'm very thankful they were able to help me out.”
