“My husband and I bourbon hunt A LOT and the selection here is worth the drive from Greenville SC where we get ripped off regularly on price for the more rare bottles”
“It’s great if you’re just wanting a snack or curious about what they might have inside stock varies from day-to-day not just from week to week there’s no telling what you’ll find. I’ve found everything between Kindle Apple mice fire stick you name it they might’ve had it at some point, and most of the time it’s cheap enough to wear you don’t mind just trying it once sometimes the day to run out on food sometimes they’re not.still safe to eat most of the time the great place to stop in and see what you think weekly if you drive by”
“Flipping love this place man play some hesitant to even post anything because I don't want anybody else to know but this is not a regular dollar type store they actually take overflow from big companies I went in there 3 days ago and bought every pair of Foster Grant sunglasses that they had for a dollar piece those glasses average about 30 35 dollars some of them are 25 but way more than a dollar anyway keep it up”
“This is not the best Ollie's I have been to. They seem to be overstocked on some items and have very limited stock on other items. It's an ok place to browse and see what you can find, but if you are looking for something specific, I would go elsewhere. I bought those as seen on TV screens for your door, and mine fell apart with 24 hours of putting them up.”
“Every time that I've dropped in, I always find some, GREAT DEALS! Mgr. is great! For the most part,
the cashiers are very helpful & friendly, too! Definitely,
One of Safe Stores!”

“Part of me wants to give 5 stars, bc I am strange and love any new experiences that surprise me. This is a discount store. With the reduction in prices, you can't walk in and expect it to be as accommodating and tidy in appearance etc as a regular retail store. But I was surprised that it was very organized. It was clean, outdated and no fancy extras, again that's to be expected. What I found most interesting was that just after lunch 3 days a week they put up caution tape around the produce coolers and stock them with amazing deals, while the customers all start lining up, they crowding around. And the women, all of which were 50 plus, started sharing the rules and how it works. Picture black Friday the years where fights broke out. .. only small scale with older women. I suggested pairing up and each grab two of the items and it was a peaceful event, but these ladies are serious about their produce;! Prices: pears .25 cents, lettuce .50, onions 10 cents, watermelon seedless 1 99. All breas including Hawaiian bread, bagels and English muffins $1, can goods varies from 50 cent to 75 for the most part. Steaks and hams $1 lb up to like $6 or 8 on porterhouse. If you live within an hour of this place, even two it's worth coming at least once or twice a month and locals should come a couple times a week as they get new trucks daily. I got a gal of milk for 50 cents with the sell by date that day, but it was good for 3 days and even if you only drink one serving that's worth it! So I love love love this place. Rock bottom prices, interesting atmosphere. The employees however were not at all friendly. Some just didn't say much at all a couple were actually kinda rude to other customers. But they could have been just having a bad day. Plenty of parking. You bag yourself but there were lots of free boxes and bags”
“Went in tonight looking for 2 specific things and walked out with way more than I had came in for. ( Didn't find what I wanted but am happy with what I did.) This DG is the BEST one I have been in in YEARS! Very clean & organized!!! Loads of cute home decor items. Store layout is functional also. DG is definitely doing well with this store. Will refer friends & family, even strangers to this one! So go check it out y'all! ?”
“This is a great place! Although the name on the store says Jeff's Thrift & Discount Store. Love the layout... its sectioned by type (kids, beauty, crafts, etc) and everything is neat and organized. Prices are clearly marked and very reasonable. The store owner(?) was very kind and friendly, and did not follow me through the store (as I've had people do in the past). I love the fact that with the books, there is a box of Bibles marked free. ? I'm so glad I found this thrift store, and I'll be coming back for sure!”
“I love my new local Dollar General! Ann and all the staff there are very friendly and helpful! Thankfully, it's not that far away. Right off Hwy 74 @ Plato Lee Rd. Shelves are normally stocked well, considering the pandemic has backed up everything! Ann was kind enough to let Eli hang a picture he colored right there at the front counter!Highly recommended! Stop by and say hello to Ann!”
“The young man Mr Jay was wonderful I brought a phone from them he explain I couldn't bring it back I took it anyway its been a month and haven't gotten it on yet DID I MENTION THAT THE ONLY REASON I BROUGHT THE PHONE IS BECAUSE IT Said BY Version THHEN THEY SAID IT'S A SISTER COMPANY BULL SUGAR HONNEY ICE TEA”
“Big, big, BIG THANK YOU to Bruce Waters, Roses District Manager for your help and your kindness in getting my furniture order processed and then getting it to me during the closing of my Marion store!!! Customer Service like yours that goes above and beyond is priceless and TRULY APPRECIATED!!! You, along with Forest City Manager David were ALWAYS kind, courteous and very helpful in assisting me every time I called the store or made contact with either of you! It’s hard these days to find service and people like you so again THANK YOU and God bless you both. (To Roses execs…these hard working gentlemen deserve a raise!)”
“Only kick I got is they never have no large t shirts they get some in an they are gone an it sometimes cpl months before they have them again l think I would stock what sells”
“Dollar General stores are everywhere and they have most of what you need without going to the god-aweful Walmart. DG as we call it could use some cleaning though. Maybe they cut their staffing too thin.”
“This is a very well stocked store right near the college. The shop was clean and well lit for the most part but there were a few darker isles. All and all, it was another good visit to one of the many dollar generals. It would near top of the list for me.”
“This is definitely the best Dollar Tree. They are fully stocked the associates are nice and it's very clean. I don't like going to the one in Spindale it's very unorganized there is boxes everywhere and it can sometimes be a very unfriendly shopping experience.”
“I'm the assistant manager here. I love working at this location. My coworkers are the best. I highly recommend anyone to shop here. We are friendly and customer ready.”
“Friendly staff, easy to find what I'm looking for. Although they seem to be out of sugar A lot of the time, other than that this is my go to Dollar General!”
“Very friendly staff!! Had the pleasure of meeting a sweet young lady “Kirstie”. She was very friendly and took the time to help me even tho I came in right near closing time!! The store is looking better as well I can tell management has changed for the better”
“FRIENDLY, very nice and helpful. ALWAYS helping me, I have Back issues and they always help load and carry out my things to car if I need. I'm sorry I can't remember the girls name that cashiered last Thursday, but she was greatI had about $250. Of items I purchased, she helped load the app for $ general between checking out my purchases, bagged light enough for me to carry at home, placed the items in another buggy for me and took the buggy to my car. James is always so helpful as well. He does the same for me. And returns the buggy for me. Couldn't ask for nicer people.”
