“I personally like Big Lots. I like all of them. This one was in a newer building and provided an enjoyable shopping experience. It's always wise to consider that every item in here is not necessarily a good deal. Some things I saw were priced at full retail. One thing that really stands out here is the tremendous amount of cheaply made furniture. It's the most by far that I've ever seen in one. As I stated, this is a nice place to shop.”

“This store gets a lot of rejected loads from major stores. The result is highly discounted merchandise. Most are groceries, candy, chips but there is a lot of other things. Laundry products, household cleaning supplies, automotive items, occasionally small appliances, dog and cat food. Go and check it out. It is a clean and well kept store. Save a lot of money.”

“I love my new local Dollar General! Ann and all the staff there are very friendly and helpful! Thankfully, it's not that far away. Right off Hwy 74 @ Plato Lee Rd. Shelves are normally stocked well, considering the pandemic has backed up everything! Ann was kind enough to let Eli hang a picture he colored right there at the front counter!Highly recommended! “Just came across this one today as I began a new Yelping tour. It's pleasantly well stocked and most of the merchandise is shelved. There was an abundance of milk and other dairy related items. There's plenty of cheese and sandwich meats to choose from. Honestly, I wish that all Dollar General's were in this kind of shape! Good Job on this one!”

“I shopped at Dollar General on Polkville Road in Shelby yesterday and it was a great experience! Cornelius was very nice and welcoming when I came into the store and even asked if I needed want help. I also noticed how busy he stayed and worked hard. If we could have people like him working in places the world would be a little more pleasant! I just wanted to let this company know that they have a good one! Btw, the store looks great!”

“This was a much better D.G. than the last one I reviewed. All shelves were full and neatly stocked. There's absolutely nothing on the floor that could cause a tripping hazard. The store associates were busy and not standing around. There was a homeless person sitting out front who made me a little cautious. He was a good sized man and was eyeing me very hard. He didn't bother me. Just gave me the creeps!”

“This is definitely the best Dollar Tree. They are fully stocked the associates are nice and it's very clean. I don't like going to the one in Spindale it's very unorganized there is boxes everywhere and it can sometimes be a very unfriendly shopping experience.”

“I honestly don't go to the Dollar general that much because I live near the Family Dollar. But when I do go they're always nice and stores always clean I just put four stars because it seems like I can't never find what I'm looking for and have to get help a lot. I'm not sure if they just change their stuff around a lot or what with the staff is nice and I recommend it.”

“It’s still a good store, regardless of the differences with management change. It’s hit and miss if you’re looking for random “treasures”.Some items aren’t worth the buy, as they’re priced retail. However, there are still major deals.I love the rugs for their price. One, of the many rugs I’ve gotten, is 10”x8”. It’s at least an inch thick and I doubt I paid more that $120 for it. You can not beat that.”
