“Clean store and incredibly polite staff ! I had to return something that I bought at another Goodwill and the manager (brunette , maybe in her 30’s ) was so kind . It’s also so easy to drop stuff off for donation here . You also find some really neat stuff here ! Like actual good clothing . So much better than the Goodwill on S Tunnel Rd .”
“Absolutely wonderful experience for my kids! We got to see one of the staff hand-feed sharks. There are dozens of fish and reptiles to learn about. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back!”
“I love it, they are all very friendly and the best thing is that they know the names of all the boys and girls and they know who the parents are or who picks them up. Excellent workers. I recommend it 100% for sure.”
“We were blessed to be here in Cherokee when hurricane Helene hit Asheville. We were able to assist at the warehouse unloading trucks, building boxes, putting food together for the community. This is a wonderful organization that helps so many. Please continue to donate and let's not forget they will need all of us for a very long time. God Bless you all?????❤️❤️❤️”
“An excellent thrift store. Clean and very well organized. A wide selection of household goods, furniture, books, kitchen utensils and clothing. And for a special treat, eat at the Dandelion sandwich shop next door !!”
“Good place to always find something useful. I got bingo from this goodwill outlet store, a Rainbow E2 vacuum cleaner just for $8 dollars. It's almost $2000 retail price. Don't use, Donate to Goodwill for Good Will of Others! Please don't cut the power cords and donate to this goodwill. Throw it away if you cut the power cord; You know who I am talking about who recently did this and donated vaccum cleaner to this Goodwill.”
“Boasting a compliment of surprisingly friendly staff people, the GoodWill career center is definitely and certainly worth giving a try, even if only just ? once.
But, what can you do here, one may ask yourself? If a job or even a career is what you need, then you are heading to the right place! This regional career center is conveniently located right next to the local DMV! And, by applying for jobs within the career center, then heading off to the DMV in order to learn how to drive or make use of their other motor vehicle related services, you may very well be setting yourself up to gain a slight or significant measure of success.
Please be sure to note a small disclaimer... The GoodWill career center cannot guarantee the successfulness of any of their clients being hired on for any job or career. The probability of gaining a paying job depends on the efforts put in by each individual, even if they do not utilize the services offered by GoodWill career center.
Above all other forms of advice, please be safe, and happy, jovial job hunting!”
“Loved it! The individuals (unfortunately, I didn’t get their names) that helped me were so friendly and worked to help me with locating some information! Thanks again!!!”

“Therapists regularly visit classrooms to engage with children. They also communicate directly with teachers to make sure everyone understands how to best support each child's unique needs.”
“IN MY EXPERIENCE…I must say this is one of the better stores I’ve been to in a while. I was able to shop the different areas and find things I wanted. The store smelled lovely. And the gentleman that checked me out was kind! Some cons were the other employees didn’t speak and weren’t very friendly one in particular (young Caucasian lady with glasses) it seemed as if I was a inconvenience she was putting things away didn’t even excuse herself at all whn she brushed past me. There was a time she almost ran into me. Had I not been paying attention. This wud have been a different situation 💪🏽 Also there were so many items on the rack tht I couldn't even go thru the clothes.
Overall I do recommend and I enjoyed my visit bc of my finds!!”
“I love thrifting and found a great blue sweater and a Guns n' Roses tshirt for the grand total of $8. The clothing selection is very large and you can find some cool items. Will be back”
“The experience was a very positive one! It was my first time at this restore location. I have been to the one in Asheville, and the one in Weaverville. The Hendersonville location is split between two separate buildings, one for housewares and miscellaneous knickknacks and one for construction materials and furniture. Of course, I visited the one with the knickknacks and I purchased 3 beautiful fork/knife sets (knives have no serration and resemble spatulas) that are made of stainless steel and the handles are bakelite from the 1800s. Great experience and I will definitely be back!”
“Pleasantly surprised by this store with how many books I found. Arrived about 45.minites before closing and found 6 books before i had to leave. I probably could have added 3 or 4 more if time permitted. It isn't the biggest store, but they had several titles I haven't run across anywhere else along with a few new releases at decent prices. Wish I lived closer to make this a regular stop.”
