“Last of the old-time country stores where you can get a cold drink, a bag of peanuts and sit and talk to your neighbor about the weather, garden, etc.... If in the area, it's worth a stop to soak in the atmosphere and history.”
“I was able to get unloaded quickly today. Despite it being Memorial Day, the grocery store was open and operational.
Please keep in mind that the unloading area is somewhat difficult to access, as it requires a blind-side back-in maneuver. I have attached some pictures for your reference.”
“I love that they have a gas station there. The pumps aren't all always working, but enough to be able to use it without waiting. Get the gas card because you can get extra cents off. Sometimes the sign doesn't show the prices of the gas, so you have to get in there to see pricing. Most times the receipts don't print.”
“Been coming here for over 10 years. We stop every year on our way to our beach week. The Thompsons are kind and friendly people. And their peaches are always AMAZING!! Plus they have beautiful produce from their garden - tomatoes, squash, etc.”
