“What a cute little store! They have a feel of "back in the day" in the atmosphere. Their selection is very broad, from tools, to can goods to snacks and household products.There is a super nice couple that I see frequently and sometimes a young guy. They're always so friendly to my kids and seem to really appreciate their customers! They have gas pumps and are in a super convenient location, right off covered bridge road. I do believe they only take cash though. They have specific hours that you'll want to take note of, I think its like 6am- 6pm or similar.I always feel good to support a local business and this is one that I will continue to support!”

“Always a great burger. I get a bacon double cheeseburger, and that's all I need. No chips or anything else on the side. I happened to be in the area and hadn't been for a while so I stopped in. I did try their chicken salad for the first time, and it was okay but not really my cup of tea - it was a little too sweet for my taste, but that's just one person's opinion. I'm glad I tried it, though. People rave about it. The larger parking area is really nice.”

“I go to this store all of the time. I recommend moving the aisles so that customers have more space to stand in line. Also all customers matter, not just construction or hard labor workers.”

“One of the nicer Food Lions in the immediate area, pretty typical with food the majority would buy. Prices were manageable. Not much in the way of low or no carb foods. A whole section dedicated to gluten sensitivities. The vegetable section was nice with lots of NC grown produce.”

“Cutest little countrified store whether at the store in Clayton, or the one at Smithfield Premium Outlets. Nice crafts, locally made items, etc. Usually there's a food truck around with Mexican, seafood, etc. Fun place to browse.”

“Big grocery store where one can find pretty much everything. Prices are often higher than at Food Lion unless it's a special or house brand. Tip: If something is advertised along the lines of "buy 1, get 1 free", more often than not you'll still get 50% off if you buy just 1.”

“I'm an absolute junkie for tightly wrapped Carolina dogs that I can eat standing next to my car, and The Grocery Bag is the perfect spot for that. Just an amazing dog and well worth the drive to Clayton.”

“Good prices and conveniently close to my house (actually, there are so many FL stores, it's difficult to not have one close to you, LOL). Only negative comment about this particular location is that employees are outside smoking too close to the entrance, usually by the Redbox machine. Can't they smoke in the back of the building?”

“Moved here from Utah and I must say I am originally from New Jersey so it was a welcomed surprise that I had when I walked into this place. Extremely friendly and the meats are amazing along with the fresh fish! I highly recommend Lowe's Foods”

“I personally love this publix and frequent it very often. Their fruit and vegetables are very fresh as well as their meats. They also have a great bakery section. Their pickup is fast and easy and the inside of the store is very clean. I personally have never had any employee rude to me like some of the comments have mentioned but have experienced the opposite. They are always welcoming when you walk through the door and have also seen them help elderly bring their groceries to their car.”

“It was actually good this time. I decided to try this store in Clayton instead of my normal Raleigh store. This store has everything I needed in stock. The lady at the pharmacy was very nice and helpful and it wasn't super busy when I was there, a bonus lol.”

“This nice ladies that work the customer service were fantastic. I have never returned an item and had to go there to return my 322 car cam that was overheating and was not in the Sun and I had two of them with SD cards. And I had my online receipts and they were just so professional. This was at approximately 1330 hrs on Jul 18 2021. Thank you guys for the nice experience.”

“9-16-23Excellent tacos.The joint is like a convenience store selling Mexican foods with a small restaurant (no interior seating but two picnic tables out front). Expect takeaway.Came for the tacos. Las Carolinas has a couple of aspects that stick out to me that you might not find at other taco joints. There are grilled onions and a jalapeño on the side. So only cilantro as a garnish, but of course, they have green and red salsa. Like some joints, radishes and lime are also an option on the side.Did al pastor and barbacoa. The al pastor is a great version, including some pineapple throughout. Seasoned nicely. The babacoa is wonderfully juicy and flavorful. Awesome. These are single tortilla tacos, but we found these a tad thicker than other joints and made for better eating and less falling apart.Las Carolinas does other food items such as tortas, sopes, etc. But the tacos would be hard to shy away from. Exhaustive meat selection if you prefer a different taco.Good stuff.Parking: Small amount to the left”
