βI shopped at this Food Lion this week. Due to the bad weather weβve had, they were working hard to restock ahelves. I asked a young man named Zachariah about a product I couldnβt find. He kindly went into the back and brought out exactly what I was looking for. I thought this went above and beyond. Itβs so nice to find kind and helpful people like him!β
βGreat prices especially if you compare to Walmart (which is <1/2 mile away. The bakery fresh produce options are great.
The only weak area is the meat selection. I try to use their options every so often and yet Walmart, Food Lion, Lowe's Foods (the best over all and they have a actual meat/ seafood counter)are just constantly better.
Still nice size store and good layoutβ

βOverall very helpful and friendly service. Will correct mistakes if they deliver wrong product. My only complaint is they say they open @ 8AM, however every time I come @ 8AM they are not open . Frustrating.β

βEasily the cleanest Carlie Cβs Iβve ever been in. Bathrooms, floors, everything. Some things were clearly older and scuffed, but they were all clean and tidy - itβs clearly well maintained, not just new. Unfortunately this is something thatβs harder to come by these days.β

βI absolutely love this gas station, such a country experience. My favorite gas station completely to go into so much fun. There's always just some like old southern men talking about something. It's just really cool. They had a younger lady working at the cash register this time. She was very helpful. Very nice. Really fun experience.β

βAmazing chicken tenders!! Would stop just for those. Seems like a stocked and well equipped store. They have truck fuel pumps but they weren't operating when I was there, 5 stars if they were.β
βTheir tortilla chips have the real taste of Mexico! If you are serving Mexican food or are planning to bring chips to your Super Bowl party, get your chips from Dos Amigos because their chips win hands down against any bag of tortilla chips from the grocery store.β

βEveryone who works in this location are very friendly and courteous. They always go out of their way to help customers if they can't find something they're looking for.β
βThis Compare store is much more cleaner than the other Compare store I've been to. The lighting is bright and the store is clean and well kept.
They have a decent variety of Hispanic options. They are more expensive for some things but there are some items worth the extra cost such as the cactus. Pinto beans per pound (dry) are better priced elsewhere.
There are some things that could be improved like the parking lot(I'm not sure that is something that stores can improve).β

βI shop here often. Around twice a week. The staff are always friendly & helpful. I have even special ordered cases of food like skinny pop pop corn from them because often they are out or there is only 1 bag left on the shelf.
The smaller size store compared to the nearby large Walmart has a great selection & I can get what I want quickly as well as get discounts with my MVP card. Wal-Mart shopping is exhausting as it feels like I have to walk miles from the parking lot to get what I want & then get out. I highly recommend shopping at Food Lion for your grocery needs.β
