“I went to this store and was counting out my measly nickels for a pack of cigs. The OTHER cashier, Chelle, said my cigs were $2 off if you buy 2 packs (getting them sales!) but I only had enough for one. She asked how much I was short ($2) and then offered to cover it. What an angel! Thank you, Chelle!!! I hope the management realizes her value as she probably saved lives with her generosity to a stranger, ensured that I will always buy my cigs from this speedway and helped me feel like the world is a better place than it actually is and I think that alone should be enough for a decent raise. I'd say about $2/hr?”

They showed compassion with helping me decide on the options for changing my tire, and did not try and charge me for their benefit. The service was quickly handled but done thoroughly. I recommend them for any vehicle service needs.”

“Even though it's self service on the gas pumps there are 2 employees that will come out and ask me if I need assistance with pumping my own gas. They didn't do it because they were looking a tip and they weren't doing it just to flirt with me. They did it because they knew both of my knees caps are wearing away at an astonishing rate and it's hard for me to get out of my car and they just wanted to help me. Plus they were young, probably no more than 18 and it's hard to find such respectful, hard working guys with the best manners I've ever seen in a teenager. My son needs to hang out with these 2 precious young men. To be honest though, the oldest one did ask me out several times but I had to thank him and let him know that he was a few years younger than my son so I didn't think it would look right.”

“Love this little store. They make lunch and dinner in house like old school country gas stations. A lot of people think sheetz is the first to do it. They're the first to do it at scale. Country mom and pop gas stations have done it since the start and rosewood food mart does it well. Loved the chicken and pots it wages I got. They also carry native cigarettes unlike sheetz. All aro7nd good place.”

“Pikeville Food Mart is probably Pikeville’s best kept secret. I heard that they had good food so I thought - why not, let’s check it out.
I found a typical gas station setting with the typical hot bar in the back. It was pretty late so not a lot of food was left but I got exactly what I wanted- a cheeseburger. This one had bacon on it which was a bonus. It did not have any condiments on it but I took it home to eat and added my own fixings. It was warm, soft, and delicious. I often think about stopping for another burger and will do this again in the future. Their choice of hamburger was very tastee. Whoever cooked it - you did a great job.”
