“This market is the best kept secret in the Northeastern Carolinas. They have the most friendly and courteous staff and the food is second to none. I especially travel from Maryland when I go home for the breakfast sausage links, the souse and the sliced cakes. Go to this store!!!”
“Would definitely patronize this grocery store. However, it is missing a few of the fresh fruits and vegetables you might expect. It does include some locally made products though. And if you are looking to buy in bulk, particularly frozen meats (chicken tenders, nuggets, etc.) vegetables and sides, there is a very large selection.”
“I enjoy coming to this Food Lion. I am always taken care of at the service desk. The workers are very friendly and polite. I live 2 minutes away from the one on Julian R. Allsbrook. I would drive cross town to this one because the one on Julian always have a problem. Store open but the service dest is close. I'm sure it is when three are outside in front of the store smoking. Store not clean, product on the floor, workers bad attitudes. You may have one or two that do their job. It's the ones that don't do their job that makes it bad. YES I WILL BE FROM NOW ON GOING TO 2500 W. TENTH ST. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ?.”
“This store is well stocked. I can find and get the items I need. They offer great sales and reasonable prices. Great place to shop for a variety of items. Most staff is friendly.
Negative: Most likely, you will have to stand in a line to checkout. No self checkouts or maximum items register if you are trying to get get in and get out quickly.”

When I came back to shop there were a couple of young ladies outside on break and they were very nice and helpful!! Friendly staff that will go above and beyond to give great customer service!!”

“1st time here. I was very disappointed in the customer service from 2 employees in 2 different areas, that would have made this a 1-2 star review - until Valerie turned it all around. I’m not sure if she’s a manager or her title, but she was exceptional. She was courteous, sensible and a star amongst the other store employees I encountered! Overall, the store was easy to shop. The fresh foods area was clean and well stocked. But I would not plan to do business with this store again if it weren’t for Valerie.”

“We are so lucky to have Rick's in our town. Very pleasant employees. Real good meat section. Almost all the choices as Wal-Mart without the long lines and uncaring and rude employees. Yeah you will pay more but the owners are local and care. As I said...we are lucky to have the quality of store as Rick's in our small town. And NO! I don't work for them nor have money invested in them.”
