? Self-Bagging Is the Standard
• ALDI does not bag your groceries for you at checkout like many other grocery stores. After the cashier scans your items, they are placed back into a cart — and you are expected to bag them yourself at a designated bagging area after paying. This is part of how ALDI keeps prices lower and checkout lines moving quickly. 
?️ Bring Your Own Bags
• ALDI encourages customers to bring their own reusable bags because the store does not give out free bags. If you forget them, you can usually purchase paper or reusable bags at checkout for a small fee. 
? Bagging Etiquette
• You bag your groceries after paying, either at the bagging counter inside the store or as you move them to your vehicle — don’t try to bag while the cashier is scanning as it slows the checkout process. 
• At ALDI, the checkout counter isn’t a place for bagging — that’s why there’s a separate bagging area right by the exits.

“Usually this location’s cashiers are not very good baggers. They put incorrect things together that makes it a pain to bring home. Today my cashier was Lauryen, she is an excellent bagger and has very good service skills. I am glad to see an improvement on this otherwise exceptional store.”

“Everything was easy to fine. I'm excited at how they label WIC items and EBT items. It is so embarrassing to find out AT THE COUNTER, that what you bought was not approved. The prices are good also. There's a good selection of meats, vegetables and fruits and everything else. 8 love Food Lion.”

“Dollar Generql on Hollifield in Gastonia: I visited today at 1230. Daniel, cashier very impressive: GENUINELY spoke to all customers as they entered, was readily available to assist. And it provides an amazingly euphoric buzz for 4-6 hrs! You've got to stop in & grab a can (or 3) of this stuff! I LUV it! Totally worth the price! I've paid $8 for a premium beer before that's barely given me a buzz, that doesn't even last an hr! So for $10 for a Fizzy that gives me an intense euphoric feeling that lasts 6 hours... heck yeah! I'd pay more than $10 quite honestly! This is the only store in the area I've seen so far that's carrying it. So def go out of your way to stop in if u can! Grab your convenience store needs, & be sure to grab a Fizzy too! - Only if U want to feel great though of course! ;)”
“I grew up on Auten Road and I remember this store when it was TA Greens. Several times a week after school we would walk to the store and buy candy sodas what ever we could get. Mr. Green was the nicest man and knew how to treat his customers. I miss the good ol days”
“There's only a few at the the Hudson food Lion I have seen a change in the young people that are working same to enjoy their job it's another story on the management side there is only a few of them that are friendly the rest of them are just so busy they don't smile you don't never see them interacting with people. It doesn't hurt to smile even when you're having a bad day”

“Good selection Jamaican products. I was able to find browning, chicken noodle packs, coconut milk, jerk, curry, oxtail seasoning, hot pepper sauce, canned callaloo. And everything was at a reasonable price. They also have beautiful African print dresses, skirts and head wraps. Will definitely be back in the future.”

“I normally prefer the Starbucks across the street from Target, but after my experience here, I just might have to switch. The young lady who took my order, Manuella, was very polite and welcoming. She made the experience genuinely pleasant, in a way that really stood out. I am a man who sticks to same old drink but she recommended me the new Pistachio cold brew with white moca and I was more than pleased! This interaction has me switched to me to a new favorite drink. I will be coming back for more.”

“Currently remodeling this location. Aisles are more spacious. Store is clean and tidy. Only issue is there is not a lot of cashier lanes open (one lane the majority of the times I’ve been) or you can use self check out. Good selection. Staff have been friendly (I’ve been going to this store for almost 5 years).”

“This is the closest Publix to our home which is 30 min away. I always love coming here to see what new or old favorites they have in the bakery. Everything is so good!!
