“While this place is a bit hidden at the intersection of several major roads Berkeley/Royall/70/13/111, it is worth the search. Look for the USA Thrift and Collectibles red, white and blue signage. The store is organized by type of clothing, houseware, furniture, etc. Prices are clearly marked with tags. Since late 2022 this store has been owned and operated by a husband and wife team, Adam and Heather. We found both helpful, laidback, and low pressure. Items come from estate sales and some closeouts. Some new items, but the majority is gently used. Some are downright vintage. True collectibles like tennis shoes, vases, dishes, and comic books. Some vintage clothing and hats. Everything from books to tools. You never know what you'll find. Our big purchase today was a bar height table and chairs. Adam had it disassembled for us when we came back to get it. He patiently helped get it loaded up for us too. Thanks fri two satisfied customers!”

The associate I asked where something was located actually walked me to the area where it was at and was very helpful and friendly. “This is your typical Dollar General store. They carry the same things as other Dollar General stores. I did not find most of the items I was shopping for today, but the store was neat today. This store might be smaller than some Dollar General stores or that's the way it seemed to me. The staff was friendly. There restrooms are currently closed to the public due to Covid19.”

“My daughter and I were looking to throw out trash from my car before going inside the store, but we couldn’t find a trash can outside. I believe we just happened to run into an employee who was just getting off work. The employees name was Delilah. Delilah noticed we were looking for a trash can but informed us there was not one outside, but offered to take our trash to the dumpster behind the store. This might seem like a small gesture, but to me it was very kind and was very appreciated so I didn’t want it to go unnoticed.”

“This is your typical Maxway store. They carry the same things as other Maxway's do. They are owned by the same people who own Rose's so it is a very similar store and they carry a lot of the same merchandise as Roses. They have some pretty good deals but you'd better get it when you see it or it might be gone the next time you shop there. I never see many if any employees besides the cashier most of the time.”
