“Tidal Wave has really been impressing me lately. Today, I went for my routine car wash. I just get the basic wash every time, and I don't go enough to have a membership. There was an attendant at the checkout, which I appreciate because otherwise I can't reach through the window and have to get out of my car to use my credit card. Then, there were two people doing the pre-wash. Somebody cleaned the front of my car with a sponge AND the giant mop thing, and somebody else did the back. I really appreciate this attention to detail. They did not rush through just to get people through. They really care about getting your car clean. Thanks so much, Tidal Wave!”

“This is a self service car cleaning buisness. Vacuum function is available here and stationary washing with handheld device as opposed to a drive thru car wash. There are trash cans on site at each Vacuum station. One quarter paid into the Vacuum gave a short couple of minutes of operation time (just enough for one floor board). The hose was too short to reach the opposite side of the cars interior. When I visited on a weekday it was not busy with only one other customer besides myself. No attendant on site. I did not use the car wash so no review to post about the specific aspect of the buisness.”

“Well what can I say it's a laser wash, that being said, it did a pretty good job on cleaning the exterior of my vehicle. I had trouble when I pulled up getting the machine to read my card but the attendant came out and gave me a hand. And that's a level of service I've never received at a self service car wash. All in all fantastic car wash at great prices”

“If you care about your vehicle and refuse to use car washes that have brushes, this could be your new go-to touchless car wash in High Point. Touchless car washes do have varying degrees of effectiveness, but this one left my truck looking nice and gray again after a couple weeks of sporting the not-so-fashionable pollen yellow appearance package. Shiny-Nu is located at the intersection of Hartley and Main Street, and should be relatively convenient for most in High Point. The lot is pretty small, with the two vacuum stations being right on the side of the building, so it can get pretty tight during peak times when several people are in line for the two car washes with both vacuum stations also occupied. Maneuverability can get interesting for larger vehicles. You can pay for the car wash with credit cards, and four different wash options are available (see photo of menu). The kiosks are abnormally low, so be prepared to get out of even stock height trucks and SUVs to pay and make your selection. I didn't use the vacuums, so it wasn't an issue, but I never saw a change machine. I may have missed it, but keep that in mind if your plans include the vacuums. Shiny-Nu is a good spot, and my new go-to for a touchless maintenance wash in between details.”
