“I love the DG...Always Great Staff... I do have a problem with advertized savings and then don't get my discount at Checkout.. Marboro's advertized at a 1.30 off any 2 packs and I only got .25 off each pack..I'M buying 4 packs every day and that adds up to quite a bit of money...”
“Exceptional grocery store. I go to this store 2-3 times a week and the items are always very fresh. But this is a more expensive grocery but highly recommend along with Harris Teeter that is just a mile down the road from this store. This is very close to the beach as well.”

“What a great dining experience. Me & my 2 girlfriend's went here for dinner. I got the grilled shrimp on a skewer. They were cooked perfect. My friend got the crab dip & stuffed flounder. She said it was on spot.
Our waitress was great as well. I'm telling everyone about this place.”
“What can I say, but every worker here is pleasant and upbeat, and this place has saved me time going into surf city when I am missing an ingredient while baking/cooking. The owners are also just as pleasant as their staff. Thank you for this gem ? oh, and I love how they created the ice cream shop next door.”
“Very nice store, but the main reason I’m giving them a 5-star is because today a man had a massive seizure in the store and both the Manager and Assistant Manager responded quickly, calmly and compassionately! They were amazing and so were the women in the make with the man! It was wonderful to see such good samaritans helping a stranger in crisis.”
“I’ve always had a good experience shopping at Harris Teeter. The store is usually clean, well-stocked, and easy to shop in without feeling too crowded. I especially like their fresh produce and bakery section, and the staff has always been friendly whenever I needed help finding something. Their VIC deals also make it easier to save money on groceries each week. Overall, it’s one of my favorite grocery stores because the shopping experience feels convenient and pleasant.”

“One of 3 dollar generals in sneads ferry, I feel like this one is more beach oriented toward the summer months than the other locations in the ferry. If its sold out of what you need because its busy dont worry check out the other 2 stores and there you should find what your looking for.”
“We popped in to spend some time indoors as the week we visited was just roasting hot. It did have a lot of product out for sale, but it was also very empty. I think it was just too big of a shop for the amount of things they were selling, so it just felt a little weird.”
“This place is awesome. I wouldn’t say it’s the cheapest place to go, but in terms of what accessible on the south part of the island this is phenomenal including the members that work here, I definitely want to name drop Mrs Ellen, she is phenomenal and is always a helping hand anytime I come in here. She has a great charisma and attitude and it’s just a breath of fresh air in the morning to get my day going when I come in there to get my coffee. It’s never a bother to ask for questions and she’s always smiling, Smitty is great too! Definitely recommend this place and the people, the energy is great. They have a little bit of everything That you might need during your beach day/vacation.”

“My favorite dollar general. The employees have the job of stocking as well as running the register and they do a wonderful job of getting to the front as soon as a customer steps up to the counter. These employees work hard and make for such a wonderful shopping experience.”

“So I’m positive that this pharmacy has the very best pharmacist in the United States of America, but I’d deep in venture to say probably the best in the world and I don’t say this slightly and it’s not just a pharmacist staff as well. Holy moly I don’t even know how to describe it, but if you want the best customer service you’ve ever had in your entire life with people who actually care about you and what happens to you I would absolutely go here because there are absolutely the best barn.”

“This 5 star review is long overdue. After my interaction with Wally on my recent visit, I feel compelled to write this. I come to this location all the time. Employees are always super nice, everything is organized without boxes all over the place like you see at other locations. The only thing that could really make it better would be if they got the fresh produce section at this location.
I came in a few days ago and my son had been looking for a particular toy and wasn't able to find it anywhere. Wally went ABOVE AND BEYOND to put a smile on his face and help him. He is the main reason im writing this review. My son has been talking about our interaction with him all week. Thank you Wally for being so incredibly kind and helpful. You never know what kind of day somebody is having and you made my son's entire week. The world needs more people like Wally.”
