The wife and I enjoyed breakfast at the Smoky Mountain Diner. The portions are big so come with an appetite. The biscuits are so buttery and to die for according to the wife. Everything we had was delicious. The staff is friendly and accommodating to your needs. A cozy dinner to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend when you stop through Downtown Hot Springs come enjoy a meal here.

This place is pretty cool! I visited and my husband got the double scoop cookie dough waffle cone ice cream with a homemade blueberry muffin. I got the iced carmel coffee with sugar. It was excellent! There is free parking past the Grey Eagle Taqueria and everything is within a short walking distance. The Resort & Spa is 2 minute drive from here. I love the atmosphere and the feel of the cozy town! The crowd gathers around evening. There's a little gift shop down the road and you can do some rafting. The pizza place nearby does brick oven style pizza and has gluten free options as well.

Big Pillow Brewing

25 Andrews Ave N, Hot Springs

We love coming to the big pillow brewery in Hot springs! It's just a great vibe. You can be outside or inside, we prefer sitting outside on a picnic tables soaking in the sun and the sounds of the birds in the French Broad River.
Great authentic tacos, but this time we felt like the pork or carnitas really didn't have any flavor, not the meat the onions cilantro.
Not sure what happened?
Was so excited to see sweet potato and black bean tacos, but my husband ordered it with all the fixings and I'm not sure if that is why there was so much Chipotle sauce on top? I would have preferred much less, it overwhelmed the dynamics of the base.
We will definitely be back tho!
Oh, the Brewery is great! I guess the tacos are a different entity Eagle Tacos? But they're really one in the same.
