“While I love the place itself, I do have a complaint about the person who handles the calls. A couple days ago I called in to rsvp for an event . The person who handles calls, was so rude , didn’t collect my details properly and felt like she just wanted me to hang up the call and not visit the store at all. I was this close to just forget about the event. Hopefully, the store manager will address this and place someone who is ready to talk with customers without being rude or mean.”

“Cute little book store on main strip in Davidson. They had a great selection and also offer wrapping as well as some small gifts. It was a little bit slow to check out but only because the staff were so helpful and making sure everyone had everything they needed.”
“I popped in to change up my usual wfh routine. This place is so pleasant. The staff was friendly, my London Fog was delicious and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I also love that the bookstore is a part of the space. The place is definitely a gem! ☺️”
“If I could give this sweet little bookstore, 10 stars, I would. The owner Melinda Hall runs this quaint bookstore and her love for books is evident in the way she laid out her lovely little shop. They offer new and used books. There is a charm in the hidden nooks and crannies. I love it!
They have a used book buy back system. Look into the details. I’m not sure how that works.

“Everything merchandise wise with Davidson they probably have it. You will not find textbooks here. Located on the main business drag across from the school. Parking is off street and free. The building appears newer and is an attractive modern design. The whole family was touring Davidson and stopped into browse. We were quickly approached for assistance, My son was looking for a Davidson Swim shirt, my daughter anything really. My daughter found something and my son struggled because nothing with swim. They did have a cap with swim, but he was not interested. He did end finding something. The store is packed with so much merchandise it's hard to imagine not finding something perfect. Checkout was the best part as it was friendly and helpful. The woman had lots of tips for us and was extremely supportive of Davidson. We walked very happy we met the clerk which elevated the review.”
“The anatomy coloring books were not put in the same sections, the woman that helped me find mine was very sweet but the anatomy books were not with the other coloring books and some were in different sections from others. When I found the coloring book sign I expected the book I was looking for to be in that area.”
“Been coming here since I was a child. I just feel now that the people working need to be more friendly. I'm just saying....it is the Adventist Book Center. Last couple of times I've gone in there I felt like I was an inconvenience.”
“I don't like the return policy (a week after classes start) and the no weekend hours. But the process of returning my rented textbooks at the end of the month seemed ok. Unfortunately, I won't know if they were ok with the books because they don't check the condition right there in front of you nor provide any type of document noting return.”
