“This was my first time visiting this specific location. From the moment I stepped foot in the building, I received phenomenal care.I arrived about an hour early for my appointment so I expected to wait; however, they were ready for me immediately. Robin was very helpful during my pre-screening. She asked if I'd be interested in donating Power Red and explained the process clearly. I had been donating for years at other Red Cross locations, but was never asked to donate Power Red. Had I known that was more beneficial for hospitals, I would have made the switch to Power Red years ago. I'm thankful that Robin took the time to answer my questions so I could make an informed decision. I will continue donating Power Red moving forward. After the pre-screening, Lisa started drawing my blood. I was a bit nervous because my last two blood donations had complications. Lisa settled my nerves by making small talk. I enjoyed hearing about her family and it made me feel better knowing she had 20+ years of nursing experience. She found my vein on the first try and everything went smoothly. While I was donating, every single nurse in the room asked how I was doing and checked to see if I needed anything. It was refreshing to see such a friendly group who cared for all the patients, not just the ones assigned to them.Last but not least, I'd like to thank Shay. Shay was responsible for the final process of my blood donation. She saw I was sitting alone and came over to talk about the Power Red process. She explained how it worked and why it was more beneficial than Whole Blood. Shay even scheduled my next appointment for me so I wouldn't have to do it later. I just scanned the QR code and added it to my calendar. There are other blood donation sites closer to my house, but I'll continue driving to this location in the future. Everyone at this site was incredibly friendly and provided excellent care.Thank you to everyone at the Blood Donation Center in Huntersville, NC!”
“Spent Saturday morning sorting shoes that are headed to Jamaica, where so many people lost everything in a powerful hurricane. It was such an amazing experience and if your child is 8 and over, they can go as well. Great way to show our children and grandchildren just how blessed we are in this country. Call before you go to ensure they have room for you.”
“The best place - Staff was great - Breana, Shelton and Walter was so helpful & made my events almost stress free. Oasis Shriners should be graceful having wonderful & helpful staff. I highly recommend this place for any occasion. Good job and thanks.”
“This facility was really great and helping out with resources needed for major transitions in life, as well as provisions for food and necessities. The people were nice, and the processes were very quick as it may not be in most situation.”
“We love going to this particular gym. The people at the reception always welcome you with a smile. This gym is always very organized and clean. My daughters participate in the volleyball program and I can attest that it is an excellent program for young women and girls to develop and learn to work as a team. In the back there is a beautiful park overlooking Lake Norman, there is peace and tranquility throughout the place. I invite you to get to know this gem of a gym.”
“Usually quite busy. Always find good stuff. Wish they had more than one bathroom stall and they would sort clothes by size not color. Dressing rooms would be nice too. The shelves tend to be messy but its customers fault I’m sure. Kind staff”
“First time going here. The first thing coming in was the great smell. They mop their floors lol. This goodwill is smaller but cleaner no clothes or hangers on the floor. We are a family of 5 with 3 small kids. We got some pretty good stuff.”
“I really like their cornbread, desserts, and their overall meal presentation. I have enjoyed a sit down meal, carryout, and quick sweet treats. It's all good here ☺️❣️”
“I stopped by this Goodwill location recently (June 22, 2025) and had such a great experience that I had to share. First off, the selection was solid—tons of adorable girls’ clothing (seriously, so cute!), but not much for boys this time around. I also found a bunch of great-condition toys, stuffed animals, and household items. And let’s just say I walked out with way more than I planned—including some kitchenware I definitely didn’t need but couldn’t resist ?.
The dresses were a little pricier than what I’ve seen at other Goodwills, but the quality was clearly better—super cute and worth it in my opinion. I posted a few photos of price tags in case anyone wants a reference.
But what really stood out was the customer service. Out of all the years I’ve been shopping at Goodwill—and trust me, I’ve spent hundreds (maybe thousands!) at a single location over time—I’ve never been thanked so genuinely for coming in. The associate actually welcomed me so kindly and even opened another register just to help me check out faster. That kind of service is rare and really made the whole visit extra special.
All around, such an amazing experience. I’m already looking forward to going back to see what new treasures show up next!”
“I love my Goodwill at University! Centrally located to both Families, Students on Campus! Than l you for the Courtesy given to each person, especially to Seniors. I will continue to shop shoodwill, I have liw income. Retired grandmother.”
“I haven’t been to this goodwill in a while due to I don’t live in Charlotte. my last visit was back in June, I was sad to hear that one of the managers Chris that helped my wife and I our first time there was no longer working at that location. He definitely made our experience amazing and the reason we wanted to come back when we visit Charlotte again. This goodwill is honestly one of my favorite places to go. My wife loves the target stuff the get in definitely great for some small projects. I would recommend to anyone”
“Lots of good deals, you just need to look for them. People are complaining about high prices, this store seems to have a lot of overstock merchandise that is unopened and new, from my experience. Best find was a lot of ~30 vintage coca cola glasses for a decent price a while back. Low end things, from card games to mugs to books to cds are priced fairly cheap.”
“This is the second time stopping by The Raptor Center. As always it's a joy to see the birds and owls amd their fascinating backgrounds. If you stop by try to make it for one of the interactive demonstrations!”
