“I'm pretty sure I've left a review already, but I can't get enough of this place. I came through the other day on my way to the Smithfield outlet mall. I had to stop at the truck stop to get some freeze-dried candy. It's so yummy. While you're there, check out the cool souvenirs they have in the gift shop.”

“We just came here, and one of the new owners came out and pumped our gas for us, and was very nice, lowest gas price around, and by far best customer service! If you came here before the new owners, definitely give this store another chance! Will definitely be returning for food and gas (:”

“Small gas station with KRISPY KRUNCHY CHICKEN for sale. They had Mystics, Fanta's and sodas in the bottles. It was like stepping into a time machine and reliving my summers in SC visiting my paternal grandmother. You can even sit and dine inside if you don't want to drive and get grease all over your steering wheel.. Prices are very reasonable and quick, fast service.”

“I absolutely love these truck stop places that they have. I had to stop and rest it was 3:00 a.m. In the morning I was so tired. They do have some spots that you can pull over and just rest. So so grateful for this. It's very hard to drive when you're tired and trying to keep your eyes open. They always have great customer service there. They have a variety and selection of foods and coffees and drinks. Their bathrooms are always clean the majority of the time. I'm sure during rushes it can get a little messy but they're always on it to pick it up. I'm definitely going to recommend the pilot travel centers that they have along the freeways. You also get great gas prices here. Thanks again for all you do and welcoming us and keeping the place so clean and tidy. I'll be back”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

The truck stop company will upgrade its stores through its Strategic Remodel Initiative, which started in 2022. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
