“We did a lot of researching of the Outer Banks before our week long trip. We, wrongly, assumed this shop would stock the light-weight, gauzy clothing. Instead it was more just typical, tourist stuff. We shopped the store located on Nags Head. The employee behind the cash register, was rather indifferent, not personable at all. The only saving grace here, was Val, who represented Sanctuary Wines! She is definitely a “people-person”, friendly, fun, and informative.”

“After traveling yearly to the OBX with my wife for the past 9 years and staying at numerous hotels on Virginia Dare Trail, the rough weather the week of our visit forced us to drive around some days. We stumbled upon Sea Isle Gifts on our last day before heading out… wow, what a great surprise it was. Folks, forget the Wings, or Sunsations unless you need a tee shirt or beach towel. If you are looking for beach themed items, shells, lamps or signage for your home, THIS is the perfect place. The prices are unbelievably reasonable for the location and the owner is a local businessman just making a living, instead of trying to make a killing. My wife purchased an entire box of gifts for what 3 shirts would have cost at the Wings store. We were amazed, and we will only shop at Sea Isle Gifts on our next trip, I would advise everyone to save your money and at the very least, walk in and browse around.”

“Based on a suggestion from Trip Advisor, we stopped twice during our trip to OBX. The staff greeted us upon entering and were very helpful. The store is divided into a general souvenir/gift shop and a car lover's delight with t-shirts, signage, etc. of many different makes and models.”

“This is a nice store, clean & organized. Very tight displays & not comfortable atmosphere. VERY pricey, staff do not speak or smile but I did purchase a pair of hey dudes in there. Only person who was nice was the cashier. I will not return to this store due to pricing & sour staff.”

“Do you have a sweet tooth? Are you currently in OBX? Well then head on over to Forbes. Seriously. This confectioner states they have famous taffy and fudge, but they have so much more. Do you remember penny candy? Well....it's no longer a penny but I bet Forbes has your fav. I was excited to see such a variety. If you are looking for souvenirs then you can also find a bevy of really nice things to gift friends and family (or yourself) to remind you of your trip. The only stroke was the lack of red coins. I'm not fond of red hot dollars but the gummy cherry coins are my fav...and I couldn't find them.”

“I had an issue w/ sizes on a 60.00 pullover sweater. Got it off the XL shelf,only to get home to find it was a large, they did let me exchange it however. Their staff could make sure things are where they belong instead of just sitting around doing nothing.Just being honest here, "all N all"though, good place.”

“Very cool store with a huge selection of hoodies, sweatshirts, shirts, and hats. They had tons of Yeti mugs in all kinds of colors too. Definitely like this place. The staff were very quiet and while the young lady was nice to us, I could definitely understand what others have said in their reviews too. My only personal negative is that its so densely packed that its hard to navigate, but still a great experience for us during the off season!”
