    “What a super friendly staff and store experience! We were visiting the area from Charlotte where the grocery stores are quite upscale and found this to be a better experience than what we are used to. Elise at the seafood counter was exceedingly friendly and helpful both days we visited. And I should also point out that she was good at upselling us while only appearing to be helpful and not at all offensive, which is a gift! Ingle's should be proud. The salad bar was clean and well-stocked, too. Thanks y'all!”

    “As a frequent visitor from Florida, we LOVE to visit Ingles any chance we get but this trip, we had to use the pharmacy. My daughter desperately and suddenly needed meds and this Ingles wasn’t able to fill the script themselves. The pharmacy tech I spoke with, Avery, went above and beyond the call of duty. She called all the ingles in the area and even checked some competitors to see if they had it in stock. She was able to find another branch that had it and immediately called me back. I have NEVER had such good customer service from a pharmacist.”

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
