“I tried their pick up for first time. The people I worked with were great. The costs per item are a wee bit more when compared to Walmart but I have a feeling Walmart is transforming into a pitstop for products. I won't go into that here. Places like Food Lion have been around but not come into their own yet. That day is coming. They have better quality foods than a place I'm not talking about right now. Smaller stores are making a comeback since the days when the Waltons bought up every store in town. I was inside with my son about a week ago. They have almost everything Walmart has. Nowadays they more than likely have more since Walmart doesn't even keep up a pretense in smaller towns. The workers were friendly. Best yet. The ones we dealt with were HAPPY! You got to where you havent noticed that missing much with Wally World anymore. Check out your nearest Foos Lion and let me know.. am I right, or am I right?”
“I came here last month while visiting my sister and niece in Laurinburg. The store is clean and well organized. The staff and customers were friendly too. I got a few North Carolina items to take back to Oklahoma with me. I would've bought some Blenheim Ginger Ale Hot from South Carolina , but they only had the Mild and Diet , they were sold out of the hot. No wonder it's the cheapest I've saw in NC and SC. I bought a case at the Pig for a dollar more a 6 pack.
I got a bag of Crav'n Cajun Trail Mix and it was very good. I would recommend you get some. I also bought 2 cans of hotdog sauce , both made in Sanford , NC. , Texas Tailgate and Patterson's. I got a few other Carolina food items to take back to Oklahoma when I was in Myrtle Beach and other stores. I visit the Carolinas about every 2 years so I have to stock up on things I can't get out of state. I was surprised when I saw Sanka Coffee , I didn't think they still made it. Ha ha.
They also have a deli with hot food and a bakery. Parking was convenient and several stores in the parking lot like Tractor Supply. Laurinburg has grown quite a bit since the last time I was here a few years ago. That's great. I grew up in Bennettsville in the 70's and 80's and it's sad to see how it's gone downhill.”
“I love the Piggly Wiggly Stores. They cut their meat fresh daily and have an awesome selection! They also have some great specialty grocery items that you cannot get at Walmart or Food Lion! The staff is super friendly and you never have to wait in line!”

“Very great family who owns and runs this store and has always been there for East Laurinburg residents, even in time of death. Harry shows up at the family's home and bringing in food, plates, forks and even drinks...Also shows up to pay his respect at the funerals...A very unselfish and grateful family...Another thing, this store by far, exceeds any store in Scotland County for having major wins on NC education lottery and scratch offs..All games....”
