The male clerk (13) explained everything and was very polite and courteous.
I highly recommend this place!
As a follow up: the passport was delivered today, less than 2 weeks from dropping off my application and just 8 days after the DOS received it.

“My husband and I bring packages to this location (dropped in the blue box) pretty much every day. Last week, we dropped one without a label by mistake. We assumed it might be discarded, but surprisingly, an individual took extra effort to ensure the package got back to us. This act was truly remarkable, and we're incredibly grateful for it. I don’t know what people were talking about in the review about needing tape you should just make sure your parcels are sealed before distributing them to the post office no bad remarks about this place from me!”
