“I’ve been taking vehicles to A&B for many years and in the category of person who can say they have a trusted mechanic. They have fixed everything from damaged fuel tanks to unknown engine noises. Most of these would give the average mechanic easy opportunity to make up whatever they wanted to say needed to be fixed but A&B has always given me an honest assessment of the issues and their prices were compatible to what I know should be charged. “I can’t say enough about the guys at Performance Rovers! They do great work without charging dealership prices. I like to work on my own vehicles, and Michael has been a wealth of information for me. He takes time to answer questions when I call, and even calls back to check up on how my work went. I take my Rovers to them for troubleshooting, which saves me a lot of time and keeps me from just throwing parts at the vehicles. They have been very accurate all the time. They also do Pre Purchase Inspections! I took the second Rover to them before I bought it and they gave it a clean bill of health! And that’s the Rover with zero issues! “My first experience with this shop and Tony was great! My college student daughter's Honda Accord had started clunking in the front end so much that it sounded like a wheel was going to fall off soon. They quickly diagnosed a common Honda Accord strut nut failure issue that had not only already occured on the driver side, but was also in progress towards failure on the other side. They fixed up both sides perfectly and also diagnosed a severe valve cover oil leak that explained why I've been having to add a half quart of oil every time I saw my daughter. I loved that they didn't try to upsell me a multitude of other things like most shops do. Killian Automotive may just be my new go to for anything they'll cover! Thanks Tony!”

“Dan is the absolute best for anything transmission related. He rebuilt the 4L60E in my 2002 Tahoe for towing my 6k~ lbs car trailer. His customer service, attention to detail, and knowledge about transmissions is impeccable. There's no one better in the Charlotte area to go to. If you need transmission work done, take it here. 10/10.
2025 update:
Tahoe trans is still holding up great after 20k miles. Took Dan my 09 Civic Si 6 speed manual because it wasn't going into gear. He installed a clutch kit, flywheel, master, slave, and rebuilt the transmission with new synchro's and bearings. It's as smooth as butter!”

“Quality of work is great. Looks like it was installed at the factory. However, we didn't have a good experience with the installation process. We dropped off the vehicle at 8:00am as instructed. We were told that they would send us progress reports, which never happened. Before 1pm we received an email showing the paid invoice and thanking us for our business. We falsely assumed that meant the work was done. When we arrived at shop, we were told that it was in calibration and would be ready in 30 - 60 minutes or by 2:30. We ran some errands and came back around 2:30. We were told again that it was being calibrated, and it would be done in 30 to 60 minutes. My husband decided to wait for it. When it wasn't done by 3:30, he called the main contact number and was told that it showed being done in their system. However, it wasn't ready until shortly after 5:00pm. If it weren't for this aspect of the process, we would rate it higher.”
