“I was purchasing a used BMW from a private seller when BW seven no longer did pre-purchase his instructions. I asked for reputable auto shops that would. Three different auto shops all mentioned indian trails imports and one of the auto shops said that and I quote “Josh is a great person and you only do right by you”
Indian Trail Imports Wednesday is the only auto shop that was mentioned by all the other shops. And true to the statement above Josh is a great person and totally did right by me as the private seller brought the BMW to his shop and Josh and his team did an extremely thorough job of inspecting the vehicle before I purchased it.
Josh was very detailed about the areas of the car that raised some concern.
And he was also very fair to the private seller, and stating that he believed certain repairs, the private seller would not have even known that they needed to be attended to.
That balanced element is what in my opinion separates Josh from most automotive mechanics.
The private seller and I reached a new agreed sales price and everyone acknowledges the great work that Josh did in inspecting the car!
Lastly, his prices are very competitive which in my opinion makes him actually a great deal!
If you have any European car that needs any type of work, repair, or a pre-purchased inspection then you should head over to Indian Trail Imports and Josh!”

“If you have a Nissan or an Infiniti in the Charlotte area and you aren’t going to Nisstech you are simply doing it wrong. You can tell right away these guys actually specialize in Porsches, not just a shop that works on everything and happens to see a 911 now and then. While my car was there I saw daily drivers like mine all the way up to GT3 and GT3 RS cars, spanning everything from air-cooled 964s and 993s up through 991 and 992 models. They also have the actual factory Porsche diagnostic capability, not just a generic scan tool, which most shops don't have.

What I liked most is how data-driven their approach is. Before they touched anything they did a full inspection and pulled diagnostic data to actually see what was going on with the car instead of just guessing or throwing parts at it.

The attention to detail was honestly next level too. When they came across worn or outdated parts, like an older cam sprocket design and a known-weak plastic fork guide, they upgraded to newer, more reliable versions instead of just putting the same thing back in. Says a lot about how they're thinking long term about the car, not just checking a box.

Communication was great the whole time. Nick actually explained what he found and why it mattered instead of just handing me a bill with part numbers on it, so I always knew what was going on and could make informed decisions. They were upfront about costs too and helped me prioritize what actually needed attention since I'm on a budget right now.

End of the day their diagnosis saved me from a $30,000 engine rebuild that had been recommended elsewhere. Dennis and Nick are some of the most detail-oriented mechanics I've worked with and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car at this point. Highly recommend.”

“I was blowing white smoke out of the tailpipe of my 2007 3500 Chevy dually 6.6 Duramax. I looked for a good diesel mechanic and I was referred to Pearson's diesel shop. I took my truck in and they told me it would be 2 to 3 days before they gave me a diagnosis because they were very busy and two days later they called me that the EGR cooler had coolant in it, so the EGR was bad. Jody the owner informed me that the EGR needed to be replaced and they would see what would happen hopefully it would not be that the head was cracked but there would only be one way to find out which was to replace the EGR. So I asked them to replace the EGR. It took about a week waiting for parts to come in and they finished the job but it was still blowing white smoke which meant the engine head was cracked. My truck has 673, 656 miles on her so I knew it would be one problem or the other.
Jody called me and told me we only had one other option if I wanted to do it. I did not have to do it right away but I needed to get my truck fixed so I told him yes let's replace the engine since it had such high miles and with a new engine I would have all new in frame parts. He informed me that it would take approximately two to three weeks to get the engine in and then another week to have it installed. It took about three and a half four weeks as he had said. The new engine has been in for a month now and everything is working great! I just went back after 800 miles driven with the new engine to have everything checked out to make sure there are no leaks and everything was running good. Everything is great the engine runs perfectly I had Jody change out the motor mounts, put on a new starter (which it never been changed) and a new alternator which was the second alternator ever put on that truck plus all new belts hoses some sensors . I could not be happier with the work that Jody and all his mechanics over at Pearson's Diesel Shop completed on my truck and as I told him earlier today he now has a customer for life.
Karen who runs the front desk was very helpful through the process as well as all the people who work at Pearson's diesel were very professional and we're willing to answer all the questions I had. I'm very happy that I found them especially since I had been going to Chevy dealers for repairs of my diesel in the past. And as a price comparison Pearson's diesel shop is much more affordable. I saved an estimated half the $ cost with Pearson's Diesel Shop compared to dealer costs for repairs with the same or better excellent service, workmanship and understanding of what is needed to repair my diesel engine? I will be referring them to others as well.
