“I had a slow coolant leak in my wife’s 2016 Mazda cx9 and brought it here to get checked out to find the issue fearing the worst. Unfortunately enough Josh called me and told me that it was a cracked cylinder head, he was very apologetic on the phone because he knew how costly the repair was. Given how old the car was I didn’t think about bothering calling Mazda. But Josh said if I was you I would really give them a call and just see if they’re doing anything to help people out that have this issue because he saw threads where Mazda was aware of the issue. Lo and behold Mazda did extend the warranties on our exact engine to 10 year 120k miles to cover the exact issue we were having. So now I’m getting it fully repaired at no cost. I would have never thought to call them without him telling me to. Saved me well over 5 grand. I cannot thank him enough. He could have easily just told me it is what it is and that been that. But he seemed to genuinely care. That’s rare for mechanics so he earned a future customer out of me for sure.”

“I was blowing white smoke out of the tailpipe of my 2007 3500 Chevy dually 6.6 Duramax. I looked for a good diesel mechanic and I was referred to Pearson's diesel shop. I took my truck in and they told me it would be 2 to 3 days before they gave me a diagnosis because they were very busy and two days later they called me that the EGR cooler had coolant in it, so the EGR was bad. Jody the owner informed me that the EGR needed to be replaced and they would see what would happen hopefully it would not be that the head was cracked but there would only be one way to find out which was to replace the EGR. So I asked them to replace the EGR. It took about a week waiting for parts to come in and they finished the job but it was still blowing white smoke which meant the engine head was cracked. My truck has 673, 656 miles on her so I knew it would be one problem or the other.
Jody called me and told me we only had one other option if I wanted to do it. I did not have to do it right away but I needed to get my truck fixed so I told him yes let's replace the engine since it had such high miles and with a new engine I would have all new in frame parts. He informed me that it would take approximately two to three weeks to get the engine in and then another week to have it installed. It took about three and a half four weeks as he had said. The new engine has been in for a month now and everything is working great! I just went back after 800 miles driven with the new engine to have everything checked out to make sure there are no leaks and everything was running good. Everything is great the engine runs perfectly I had Jody change out the motor mounts, put on a new starter (which it never been changed) and a new alternator which was the second alternator ever put on that truck plus all new belts hoses some sensors . I could not be happier with the work that Jody and all his mechanics over at Pearson's Diesel Shop completed on my truck and as I told him earlier today he now has a customer for life.
Karen who runs the front desk was very helpful through the process as well as all the people who work at Pearson's diesel were very professional and we're willing to answer all the questions I had. I'm very happy that I found them especially since I had been going to Chevy dealers for repairs of my diesel in the past. And as a price comparison Pearson's diesel shop is much more affordable. I saved an estimated half the $ cost with Pearson's Diesel Shop compared to dealer costs for repairs with the same or better excellent service, workmanship and understanding of what is needed to repair my diesel engine? I will be referring them to others as well.

Let me say, Bob in the service area, is awesome and so we're all of the other guys. Bob started by asking about my budget. A great place to start for sure since tires can be expensive! We found an affordable but good solid tire below my budget and even though the door says they are on an hour and a half wait, they had JUST caught up and were able to take my truck back within like 10 or 20 minutes! I will be coming back!”
