“I attended Bad Axe on a Wednesday evening for a team building event and we all had the best time. Brayden, was professional & provided great customer service. As a first-time axe thrower, I especially appreciated his instructions & help correcting my horrible form. Thanks to him, I even hit a bullseye! Music & beverages made the time there so fun! “Starlight is a great place to spend your time. The place has a very mellow and comfortable atmosphere with a lot of different types of seating arrangements that are inside and outside. The people who run Starlight are very friendly, very reasonable people who are easy to have a conversation with. There are a variety of different events that take place at Starlight throughout the week too. I would give this place more stars if it was possible.Kid-friendliness: I bring my 14 year old son to Starlight every week before his drum lessons, because his lessons take place across the street from there. They make him a killer hot chocolate. We also play ping pong and hulahoop in their courtyard when we have a little more time. The music inside starlight is generally kind of mellow, not offensive, and not super loud either.”

“The Duke Mansion is a lovely gem tucked away in the heart of Charlotte. Convenient to get anywhere in town. Our room was spacious and well maintained, however, they are not equal so make sure you are specific in making your reservation. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. I would love to give this 5 stars but the staff is lacking. It is actually impressive that they can still say rooms will not be cleaned "due to COVID" with a straight face. Awkward excuse for poor management.”

“I was very pleased with how fast we were seated, God knows cheese cake factory was busy on a Saturday afternoon. Our waiter was very nice and basically on point with everything his job details. We ordered muscles for an app which was abundant, big, and delicious. (That's what she said) for the price it was worth it. Our entrees came out fresh and tasted great. The problem was that the food we brought home lost it's taste by that night, next afternoon. Very bland or mushy depends on what you get, highly recommend just trying to finish it it on site”

“I checked in with a with a welcome and friendly happy smile from Amber. She accommodated me a higher floor near the corner to be more quiet. She even brought the sandals to me directly as housekeeper was off work. I feel she has great customer service that goes above and beyond. But, there were bunch of kids constantly opening a closing door all night, talked loud and even running at the hallway.I planned to swim in the morning, but the water was filthy dirty with hair, debris and floating stuff, likely caused by those kids again. Andrew was kind enough to offer to clean the pool, but it is just too dirty for me.Also, the room AC was strange as it constantly ran for few minutes and stop for about a minute. It was very loud that when it ran, I barely could hear the TV audio. I have stayed in many other aloft hotels before and never noticed or recall issue like this. She accommodateDon’t know why the corporate have a noisy mechanical clock next to the bed? I had to unplug it.I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, 1st night was rough, but other two nights were normal. Although the 1st night experience was bad, the staff were offered some compensation.”

“In the search of a venue for my Alumni Fraternity 74th Anniversary celebration we toured The Hamilton Event Space. Immediately sold on the space once seeing all of the different room locations where we not only provide our guests with an experience they wouldn't forget but also "Wow Factors". The event Manager Alyssa Corbin went above and beyond with providing details, suggestions and answering all questions throughout the planning process. She made the planning process for 400+ guests easier than ever. She was also accommodating with our vision for the space. Thank you for everything Alyssa.The evening of the event we were greeted by Ben who was our main contact for the night of the event. Another above and beyond service as he was everywhere throughout the entire night ensuring everything was flowing. At one point I saw him walking thru the crowd to handle something and he hit a few dance moves with the crowd, this type of energy by staff is always appreciated and enjoyable. The entire staff was GREAT from Maddie, Whitney, Franklin, Myriah, Eli and Mariah. Their service was top notch as all guests were able to be served in a timely manner but overall a fun experience.This was my first time meeting the owner Tom. He was extremely pleasant and at one point we were trying to figure out our additional sound we wanted in the front of the venue. Tom came to me and gave a suggestion, after his suggestion he said "but you don't have to do it that way". You don't meet many owners who will give you options and during what could have been a panic moment Tom gave the best suggestion but also was trusting of the decision we were going to make (we went with his suggestion by the way).The food...let's just say the leftover food I had the opportunity to take home and definitely enjoyed the next day. The food options seemed endless from review of the menu and with what we selected we were not only satisfied but highly impressed. (The food is GOOD).The Hamilton Event Space gets a 10, two thumbs up and standing ovation. It's rare, especially after the pandemic to patronize a venue where everything is TOP TIER! “My mom found this place online. We booked it for my daughters 6th birthday, not really knowing what to expect. These girls had the time of their life! They do everything for you btw. Which I love however I didn’t do my homework so I showed up with stuff that I didn’t need to bring like cupcakes, drinks, ect but that was my fault. My 4 year old wants to come for her birthday in February so we will be back and this time I’ll invite more girls because I want them to experience this. I’ll probably do the professional photographer option next time too. We did the option to hire a real princess but she was sick however they emailed to let us know and gave a full refund. Great experience! ❤️❤️❤️ I never take the time to review anything but I was like man they really did a great job let me take a minute to thank them! 10/10 recommend”

“Dang ngl it’s a pretty good place. I did lose a dollar in the claw machine… I just wanted a rubber ducky, I sacrificed my dollar but it’s death meant nothing, oh god… OH GOD WHY?!?! Why did I use it on a claw machine?! It probably wanted a life in an ATM machine but I screwed that up. What kind of friend am I?! I had the dollar in my wallet for like 6 months, we were basically childhood friends and I use it on a CLAW MACHINE! AHHHHH! God… why… anyway yeah pretty good place. ?”

“It was my first time visiting this Bowlero location. It's an impressive large building with several bowling lanes. There's arcade and other games available for the kids. The menu prices to order food was appalling! I would rather grab a bite to eat prior or after bowling. Yikes! Additionally, I was appalled the cost to play a game of bowling. I don't bowl often, but I would reconsider other options for a family activity. You can easily drop over $100 + just to bowl, and it doesn't include food or drinks. Get ready to open your wallet or swipe your platinum credit card! The facility was clean and orderly.”
